I found it at Stubbs Harley/Buell in Houston. i flew in from St. Louis and rode it back non stop. it was 65 degrees when I left Houston at 4pm and 25 degrees in Missouri at 6am. That was a long cold night. | ||

This picture could not have come at a better time for me. I was trying to decide to polish my tail or get it powder coated. I believe the powder coat is the route to go with. Now I to see if the powder coater can put the stripes in it also. Jimmy | ||

That is one beautiful X1! Very tempting! But I think you're right about the frame, Brankin. This one must have been changed or powder coated. I had an X1 very similar to this, but it started out with Reactor Yellow bodywork and Nuclear Blue frame and wheels. I bought a set of Red Race Stripe bodywork off Ebay and swapped it out. Unfortunately, I tried to teach it to do cartwheels in a bar ditch, and it didn't learn very well!  Thank God that Sir Chadley had a flask of whiskey in his tankbag, or it might have been a bad day!
