Wow, I like those sliders. I they work, and protect the motor, pods, and shifters, that would be great. Count me in, if we do a group buy on those. Well, I was gone all last week for work, back one day, and leaving again today, Friday thru Sunday night. Mom in law is not doing good in Oklahoma. going back to be with my wife this weekend to give her some moral support. Back Monday of next week. Flat track. Yep, I cannot wait for that either....BUT...my work gave me a project that week in Northern Cal....wouldn't you guess, the one weekend of the event. That still leaves me one more week of flattrack in Prescott this fall. Hopefully nothing will fall that weekend either. Baby Huey...The RED S2. I was going to pick up from you this weekend, but it looks like I cannot since I am going to Oklahoma this weekend. If it is ready, send me an email. its almost cancelled. I'm going to have to work on friday and Monday nights. Which means I get off saturday morning at 7AM, rush home, and change, then head out to meet the other riders by 9AM. Maybe I'll get lucky and get some sleep at work, LOL It will more than likely be the usual group, plus two or three. we will see, most drop out when they start thinking about the miles, and the weather... | ||

Andrew..... I was there at 6:20 and you were long gone... LOL Dropped her off for the harness and also my cluster speedo cuts out some times... It has done it 3-4 times in the 3k miles I have had it and I never cared too much because it was just for a few seconds... On my way there today it was wigging out! I was doing 5500rpm in 6th gear about 88MPH, the speedo was bouncing around between 80mph and 95mph like crazy then it would drop to 20's and 30's then to 0... when it acts up the gear position indicator reads -- but all other features like the clock, tach, temp remain ok. I would guess the speed sensor or possibly the cluster. I'm planing to pick it up after I get off work tomorrow so If they can't get it sorted by then don't worry about it. -Thanks, NICK | ||

I saw a Black Firebolt at 75th Street and McDowell today. I just pulled my header, getting it coated, then fixing the damn oil leak in my rockerbox cover. Then I'll be replacing the fan, and I won't have any excuses not to go ride with you guys sometime :P | ||

Hey Charlie, we are having a ball up here. 192 miles coming up here yesterday. Weather is great! No rain, the roads have been great, and the scenery has been spectacular. Had a good bullshit session last night fueled by small quantities of spiced rum. Getting ready for breakfast now, and then heading down 191 around 9 am. Did a nice little 220mile ride today, just enough to make the bum a little sore! Rode from my place in Mesa up the B-line almost to Payson and turned off on the 188... took that down past Roosevelt into Miami-globe area then came down the 60 back into mesa.... We were cooking and didn't see a single leo! Great ride! | ||

I did the ride over to Laughlin Friday night and watched Three Dog Night at harrahs. Nice ride, a little cold on Friday afternoon and night. Laughlin was warm. Laughlin was a zoo, even at 11:30 pm till midnight. stop and go traffic trying to get out of town. Then 48 degrees back to kingman to the hotel. Saturday was good, taking 89 into Prescott, a stop for some coffee, then back to Phoenix. So much for getting work done around the house. REX | ||

Super, you can drop me an email note for the amount. I have a special event that has popped up for this weekend. I will be leaving early Thursday morning for the Bay area, and will be there thru next Tuesday. I will not be at the May meeting at Chases. I then leave again on Thursday of that week, heading back to Northern Cal, only driving this time. Hummmm, maybe Tuesday night, May 4th, I could get my son and we could come over and pick it up. Thoughts? How did they mount up? okay? does the bike stand more upright now? hope so. My tie downs and items are there, so I will need them to tie the bike back down. did the isolators look okay? just wondering. I plan to take the bike to Texas in May for the S2 gathering. | ||

I talked with my son last night. A couple of options for us in getting the Buell S2. -If you did bring it on the trailer to Chases on Monday night, he could meet you there and ride it home. -Or, he is open to driving me over on Tuesday night, and I ride it home, and he takes back the spare parts and tie downs back in his car. Rex, tuesday night is fine. everything mounted up just fine, a pain in the ass but fine. the bike stands up perfect now but theres no bumper for the sidestand and it comes up to high and will touch the axle. i put a piece of rubber in temporary to stop it touching. the isolators looked like new. | ||
