Author Message   Rhino72 Posted on Monday, April 26, 2010 - 01:19 pm:        My 2006 XB12Ss with factory race exhaust has been problem free since i bought it new but last week at highway speed it suddenly started sputtering and missing. Once i got it home, it was idling so slow and inconsistently that it could barely keep running. I've ridden it twice since and the problem continues. It seems to sputter at all different speeds any time i'm maintaining a constant speed / RPM then it will clear up under acceleration. Idling continues to be sluggish and sputtering. Could this be spark plugs, fuel filter, engine timing, ECU? something worse?? THANKS!   Froggy Posted on Monday, April 26, 2010 - 01:41 pm:        Check your spark plugs (might be fouled) and your plug wires (might of worn through against the motor causing a short)
