Just wanted to tap into your expertise regarding de'noiding following having the new charging harness installed. I chose to de'noid by simply using the resistor plug. Prior to taking it to the dealership for the recall work, I removed the resistor plug, and reconnected the noid as it was originally. When I got my bike back, I went to disconnect the noid and replace the resistor plug. I then noticed the wiring forked off into two now, assuming to make a connection for the new harness. Could you take a quick peak at my picture to confirm that I installed the plug into the correct socket. I've ridden 150+ miles with no issues or warning lights, so I am assuming I got it right. Just wanted extra eyes to confirm. Thanks for the help.

And while I have your attention, when I got my bike back, the cover to the fuse box (located on the left side) was placed in the compartment under the passengers seat. I went to put the cover back on, and I thought it would snap into place, however it just sits loosely over the fuses. Isn't it suppose to attach? Thanks for any and all input.

If you don't have a CEL then you got in the right plug. Fuse cover won't snap into place on mine either. |

My fuse box cover will snap into place, it's just a PITA. |

On the CA bikes the "C-can" keeps the cover from latching. Mine on a non-CA bike is still a PITA to get latched. |

Your resistor plug is correct. |

SDMark & Eweaver, Can you please go to my thread and see if the resistor is in the right plug. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/566073.html?1274317852 I can't tell whether your resistor is in the old connector or the new harness. |
