Howard (Cheezits), Drop in on C3 - Carolina Corner Carvers in the Storm Fronts section. We've got good representation throughout most of North Carolina. For instance, I'm only about 45 minutes away from Jacksonville, NC in New Bern. Hope to meet up with you and do some riding. Welcome to BadWeB! 1313 |

Hi everybody, first post on BadWeb, but certainly not the first time I come to the site. I've been intensively reviewing the Bad & Dirty section of this wonderful site, as my Buell is an Uly. Maybe I should say hello on the Uly's forum too. See you there then ! Sheers from |

Hello Buell nation. I have an ache in my belly to join you. I ride an xlc1200 w zbars, bobtail rear fender, VnH straightshots, custom chin spoiler, custom h.o.c. metallic blue over black flamed tank, and an amazingly comfy Danny Grey seat. This bike looks right, runs right ( stage 1) and sounds right. For what it is... I want to ride corners being challenged to go further, not skirt the wall that is this bikes ability. And W/ two boys getting into sports and such I feel my m/c time will be better spent riddin than scrubbing and polishing. I could go on and on but it all comes back to the feeling in the gut. I am glad I found you guys, it is what let me feel good about moving foreword against the Funny looks I get. The talk with Frank was invaluable, if only my bike would swap for a Ulysses. I am thinking an M2. My bike is aggressively on the local market. Would love suggestions and advice. I would like to find something with bags to if possible. I know, a nube and already being picky. |

The side bags are nice. They have issues, so I'm not sure I would spring for full retail for a new factory set... but if you are looking at two bikes (one with, one without) then they are definitely a +. I don't have (or want) the tail hard bag, as it seems like an invitation to a bad injury if I get rear ended. I'm tall, so I like the Rox risers also. |

}Bought my White Lightning in 1998. Been great bike, no plans of letting it go. Eleven years and I still drool before firing it up. Bought it in Seattle and moved to Las Vegas and the bike runs best down here. Important to be nearer the equater than the north pole.}}}{flagUSA} |

Just lookin, hoping to find solid information on the 500cc blasts dimensions. I have this crazy idea and I need to start with the over all height, length, and width. Also wondered what the whole unit weighs, max torque, hp, rev limit etc. |

just a guest here looking for insights re. the validity of a Blast for my 18 yr old son. He has been through safety courses and riding for two years. He has been riding to school, around town, etc. on my old put-put Honda 125cb from 1976. Understandably he wants to move up to a bigger ride. I am not thrilled with his desire to get a Ninga 250 or any other pure "sports" bike and I have suggested he look at a used Blast. It seemed like a valid compromise. Any thoughts and insights you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, pipe |

i think even a lightning would be ok. it is very easy to ride. that is my opinion. but you cant go wrong with a buell. they are all user friendly and look good. |

Hey Pipe, I have a nephew that is looking for his first and I think that a Blast would be an ideal first bike. Besides if your son wants a smaller sportbike, Crossroads Performance in WI has a great lookin Blast. |

I only want to say that I am glad that I did not pass up on the opportunity to purchase the XB9SX in my lifetime. At 47 and 135 lbs it is true that it is the thrill of a lifetime and every ride is new and exciting. This seems to be the ultimate reward for my troubling toil. Thank you Eric! |

Greetings to all, This is the first time to log in and Post. Just picked up a 07 Lightning XB12Ss from my son in Houston. Had a great ride to the Central coast of California (1976 miles) The bike felt good and lasted all day. The zig zag across the West was fantastic, but, the wind in my face was really bad. I pushed a head wind from Amarillo to the Pacific Ocean. Does anyone know if the Ulysses windscreen will fit the Lightning??? At any rate, I love to ride and I love to ride distance. I think the Lightning Ss will fit the bill for this. Does the Buell group have group rides? WOW! I'm in over load. I'll stop for now, I look forward to hearing from you all. Hello everyone! New member to the website, but not my first post. I actually needed help with my 2003 XB9S, the fuel cap was stuck and members here helped me figure out how to get it open. Well now that I have gotten that open, I have only had a little problems with the bike, like I have to tighten my passenger side mirror, and thats it really. But a bit about me, my name is Brendan, im 22 year old combat veteran with the PA National Guard, the 2003 Buell XB9S is my first bike, and im loving every day of it. I'm taking my time getting used to it and learning how to ride it, ive put about 150 miles on it since sunday, not that im bragging or anything... just enjoying it. Hope I can contribute and help out to others like I was helped, and well, thanks for having me guys. -Brendan |

Well, Hi. I'm Nikkie - a boring little chickie from Bris Vegas who adores a couple of your members - Chili and Vampress. I don't actually ride a motorcycle, or know much of anything about bikes.. but am here to vicariously live V and Chili's USA holiday through this forum. So far, I'm am thoroughly enjoying their adventures and am so happy that they are meeting some of you guys for the first time and having such fantastic experiences with you. Look after these wacky kids for me - their puppies and I really want them back! (So no, you can't keep them!) I might drop some idiotic little tidbits in from time to time, but on the whole I'll try to keep quiet and not to annoy anyone too much... (Message edited by nikkie on June 05, 2010) |

Hi All, First time posting on this forum. I just traded for a 2000 M2. What a nice ride. Its fast and looks sweet. I have one problem. The Speedo doesn't work. The tack is fine. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Also if anyone has a service manual, I'd be your best friend Lee Mr_video ivideo4u222@yahoo.com |

Well I'm a new "B" here to this forum. I am also new to the world of Buell ownership. I have been riding about 26 years or so, owned too many bikes to count, and my latest purchase was an 08 1125r with 1k miles on it. I have owned it about a week, but its been at Harley for five days getting a new speedo / dash, and a new clutch cover. Fortunately it is all under warranty, but it sucks not riding it.I look forward to sharing stories, opinions, lies and so forth with ya'll (jus kiddin about the lies). |
