If I am wrong please let me know because it could be the key to my surging in lower rpm's in lower gears.   Buell77 Posted on Friday, April 16, 2010 - 07:13 pm:        I talked to someone at EBR today and they said you don't need a resistor. The ecm doesn't do anything to the solenoid. You can leave everything hooked up if you want or remove it for weight savings or whatever. If completely removing the solenoid he recommended the resistor just to close up the connector so it doesn't corrode. (Message edited by buell77 on April 16, 2010)
