Thought I would start another "fun" thread. The theme is "What's the worse thing you have ever done to your 1125 in the garage?". I have no doubt this has potential for entertainment. |

I don't know if I'd say worst but damn funny. I rode all day pulled in the garage put my feet up on the bars laid back and fell asleep it was so nice. I laugh every time I think of it |

Ok, I will share mine. Granted I haven't had the bike very long, but so far, the worse thing I have done is... ...install the new HMF slip-on! It is so freaking loud I can't believe it. I am already in the market for something else that has some sound, but is reasonable. Not only the worst mod on the 1125, but worst mod I have done to ANY bike. |

I ran over my bike with my lifted Jeep. The sound of gas tank on sidewall is not one I want to hear ever again. I was backing the Jeep in, misjudged, the Jeep hit the bike and the bike fell on the Jeep. It was scary and stupid and frustrating and stupid. |

Forgot to put the kickstand down after checking the oil or something and it started to fall into the side of my '70 Chevelle SS. I was able to catch it before anything really bad happened, but it still left about a 6" streak of plastic smudge from the bike mirror. Could have been a lot worse. I felt like such an idiot. |

After a 100 years on bikes I should know better. I was trying to bend the rear indicator bracket a little..... the one with the reflector on it.....bang!....the whole thing snapped off in my hand!! Had to take the whole unit apart model a strengthening plate in metal to fit inside the plastic plate holder assembly. Looks like new now but took a few hours for 2 seconds of stupidity....Ah well thats bike life (Message edited by trafford on April 16, 2010) (Message edited by trafford on April 16, 2010) |

Got off my Blast without putting the kickstand down. Too bad I don't have it on video. |

AHHH, 70 SS Chevelle, nice. I have had a few of those and wish I still did. Right now I have a 69 SS Camaro and a 69 Olds Cutlass S. |

Mine stroy isnt in a garage , but should bring some laughs . I tiered of my cruiser which was low stretched , to the 11 . I anxiously awaited my first ride ( ice to melt ) and off I went !!! I made it about a mile down the road and pulled into Starbucks to turn around and head back , as I made the turn I hit the front brake , like I had always done on my cruiser , but with very little rake , a higher seat , and a much better brake .....she started going down , as I pulled with all my mite to keep her from going down , I also pulled real hard on the throttle , in which she proceeded to do doughnuts on the right clutch cover and knocked me down ! I guess the people sitting in Starbucks got a real good laugh , I stood her up , rode her home and swore never to ride her again . I wouldnt even look at her , cuz I was sure she was maimed and scared ! I waited till I calmed down , and went to go asses the damage , All I could find was a scuff on the "puck" , lol not even a scratch on the pod or anything , I couldnt believe it ! |

Not in the garage but still stupid..... Just got home from the dealership with the bike in the back of my 2006 QC Ram. I start pulling off the straps and got the the last one. Released the last strap and down she went on it's side. I forgot the kick stand!!! No damage to the truck or bike amazingly. another stupid... Last Turkey Day family came to visit, wanted to see the CR. I open up my 30x40 work shop fire it up and begin to ride it across the back yard to the street. I no sooner get on the wet, leaf covered grass and my wifes little puppy starts pulling on my pants. I lean right, twist the throttle, go into a huge power slide, right, left, right, and down in the mud. Minor scratches on the pod but other than pride no serious damage. BTW Meguiers buffing compound works awesome on scratches on our plastic...all gone, better than new!. |

Last summer rode 1500 miles over a 3 day weekend at the Gap without an incident. While unloading the bike from the trailer in my driveway I tipped it over just as soon as my buddy popped the tie down. Pinned my calf between the bike and the angle iron side of the trailer. Worst part was I had no where to fall so ended up landing on top of the bike putting further weight on my pinned calf. Bike was fine but I still have a dent in my calf... |

Well the real scary part is the dealer has mine (1125R) and I won't get it back till May cause my stator went out on me. I just know I'm going to break my rule of not dropping this bike ever when I get back on her. |

A few years ago when riding my XB out of my house on the way to work I stopped where the drive-way meets the road to let traffic pass. I put down my right leg forgetting that I was at a right angle on a hill (right side downhill). By the time I remembered it was too late - the bike and I just toppled right over. I'm sure the people at the bus stop across the road thought I was an idiot (and they were right). Damage to bike was minor. The worst part was picking it up, getting all my gear off, then having to going and wait for the bus!! (Message edited by ozzysx on April 17, 2010) |

came to a stop at a traffic light, front tire locked up on a flattened soda bottle and washed the bike out from under me. |
