I have to agree here, I installed my EBR Race ECM for Pump gas yesterday with a Race Protune 3 and took her out for about 100 miles last night. Instant difference! All of the quirks where gone. Plus my engine ran between 15-20 cooler all night. I would have to say this would the best money spent thus far on her, this is a must do. Now I just have to get up to Western-Reserve for a good tune. |

Pitt guy , You running race fuell ? and what exhaust ? I have the EBR ECM pump gas with HPE exhaust , I love it !!! I cant believe how light it makes the front end ! Apparently the LEO's dont like that much , go figure ! I guess I didnt realize how heavy the stock ECM must be , it must have acted like a weight ballast to help hold the front down ? may have to fill the front fairing or my bellypan with lead . lol Ken |

Pitt guy, I agree with you. Running the EBR Race ECM with a second adjustable tuner works! I'm running a similar setup, but mine is the Daytona Twin Tec module. I picked up a ton of mid-range. I found one from a local Bueller cheap! Thanks Jdugger. |

All of the quirks where gone. Plus my engine ran between 15-20 cooler all night. Yep. I was at Buttonwillow Tuesday and running the bike HARD. I was amazing to glance down a couple times to see 175 degrees on the CT readout. Granted it was a cool day so that obviously helped, but damn that's still pretty amazing. |

I've got an 1125r w/Jardine exhaust and am thinking of going with an EBR ECM. If I would install one, would it take care of the "denoiding" problems? I haven't "denoided" my bike yet since I've only had it since November and have ridden it very little since. My problems have been a delayed throttle response during slow and constant acceleration. It seems to occur more often in second and third gear, and at low-midRPMs.(I'm guessing that this is the common symptoms associated with the noid issues) Thanks guys! I think you're describing a low speed throttle surging. Not delayed throttle response. I may be wrong, but it sounds like a lean mixture problem which is magnified by the less restrictive Jardine exhaust. Any way, the EBR pump gas ECM should clear up your described issue. Now the denoiding question. Whether you remove the solenoid or not, is not related to what you have described. Do a search on the "denoiding" question. You'll find a ton of info. Hope this helps. |

what are "low-midRPMs"? |

You guys are right, I should have described the problem further. When rolling on the throttle from 2500-4500rpm, on occasion there is a delayed throttle response that occurs. I would describe this as: -When I am slowly rolling on the throttle, the acceleration response seems to "stick" or stay at a constant rate, even though I am increasing throttle twist. After a second or three, the bike will "catch", and immediately increase acceleration to the current amount of throttle that I am holding it at. I know, probably not the best description, but I guess that's the best I can do for ya. It feels like that bike is playing possom with you and then catches and attempts to buck you off. |

So can I run a remus powerizer with the race ECM and is the the frame running any cooler (fuel boiling or fuel smell) |

Thurston, I'm still set up for pump gas, but there is a place about 20 minutes away, and another about 30(BeaverRun), that stocks most race fuel. So to answer your question, I'm running 93 currently and as of this saturday I'll be running 98. Also, I have an HMF exhaust and if funds allow I will be getting a keda-design RT3 Soon. Back to what I couldn't believe is the temp, It was a solid 10 degrees warmer on Wednesday and I was running around 167-171 on the average. Before the EBR ECM I was running a solid 190-194 degrees. BTW, anyone know who to ask for in Service up there at Western-Reserve? |

My average temps are about the same around the 190,s before and around 170,s now , I ran the stock ECM , my favorite performance tune from some OldSportBike Rider ,Lol and the EBR , stock scores a 3 , OldSB's scores a seven , and the EBR scores a 9. I have the HPE and K&N , OldSportBike Riders was a performance tune for a stock set up , it did well but is not a tune for my current set up . EBR would have scored a 10 , it is Very Very good , I'm totally satisfied , it has some room for small adjustments , but I understand it is not specific for my bike or exhaust . The only way to achieve 100% perfection is to tune my bike, with the EBR ECM on MY bike , and my exhaust . I think from a SOMP gauge my bike is stronger , running very well , and much cooler , oh and gives me a big SEG !!! Well she always has but you know ...lol |

Willkill: I was having the exact issue you are describing on my 1125R. When I described it to the Buell factory-trained service tech at my preferred shop, he said that it was a known issue covered by a tech bulletin and that the fix was to replace the throttle body. He did so and the bike doesn't have the problem any more and is way more responsive now. Check with your favorite servicing dealer and get it taken care of before your warranty runs out... The TB is quite expensive otherwise! I just called the shop and tried to get the tech bulletin # for you, but the kid I talked to was new and didn't know shit. I asked him to look into it and get back to me. |

OK, I just talked to one of the service managers at the dealer and she advised me that there actually isn't a tech bulletin on this matter, but that if the servicing technician calls the Technical Services line and describes the issue as you have, they should readily identify that the fix is to replace the throttle body. Good luck! |
