Buellerthanyou -- I asked, Al said to send whatever I wanted but to list them in order of preference on which to run first. I think I'd prefer to have them run in order of design to show them sequentially, so it might happen, it just depends on how much time they have. I'll be making another parts order early next week, I will most likely try to get additional stock to build out a couple of extra systems. I bought out most of the stock on the last order, so we'll see what I can get. I know one of their employee's was out this week and he's the one that does the laser cutting. Thanks Ian, that makes 5 just for this week alone. I had a slight delay on the last order so I'm a little bit behind now. I expected a shipment today that won't get here until either Monday or Tuesday now. I will work through them in the order they came in and do them as quickly as I can. |

Hey no problem Dean. I would like to get more miles on anyways in case any problems arise before it really gets broken in. Can't wait to get it though. Like i said before. Don't rush the welds!! |

Some different angles on it, 3, 4 and 5 o'clock positions. There's a small gap there, it's not pushed into the can yet so it's easier to turn it right now.

Ah, the "•••• tease" stage of the build where Dean sends you lots of pretty build pictures. +1 Couldn't ask for better customer service than I have recieved up to this point, still no pipe, but Dean has kept me up to date throughout the build process so far. Any questions I have are answered very fast, it has been great working with Dean. I'll have a full review after I get the pipe, but I just thought I would share my experience so far. I'm very impressed. Keep up the good work Dean, really looking forward to getting that beast mounted up. Jared (Message edited by jredx1 on April 15, 2010) |

Argh, Dean, I love the look of your system my man, very nice work. Sound wise do you know how this will compare with an like the FMF or Barkers? I so want to order one like you're doing right now, just fearing the thunder. lol |

Go with the RT-1 then, it's a bit more mellow. I'm going to try doing another RT-2 with different internals similar to the RT-1 so it might come out close to the same volume/sound. I don't have a comparison to either of those in person. Just internet videos like everyone else. Just for reference, the Jardine I had before required ear plugs no matter how far I went. The RT-3, I can make it 10-15 miles or so before I start wishing I was wearing them. The RT-1 I've gone for an hour without any serious problems. I normally wear ear plugs though, I guess I'm getting old now. I love the sound, but I don't want too much of it. I don't know if anyone has caught the naming of these pipes yet except for Geforce. The MT series of modified stock pipes is "Muffled Thunder" and the RT is "Rolling Thunder" if you've been wondering what it meant. The RT's can be heard for 1/2 mile or more if you're really twisting the throttle. |

How much are you getting for the pipe? Have you had it on a dyno to get some numbers? |

98s1lightning -- Yup, it's been on the dyno, stock ecm, 15+ hp over stock after 8k rpm, 8.5 hp more at redline. This one goes for $584 shipped, no polish. Ian, will do. Just got more stuff in last night, so I'm working my way through them. |

Hey Dean....I decided I want mine at the 3:00 position like in the first picture. That looks like it belongs on a race bike to me. I know, I know....wait your turn, I'm just so excited. |

That looks awesome Dean! I think I'm going to go camp out at UPS till it gets here. UPS delivered an EBR ECM today. I can't wait to get them both on the CR! |

What Keda pipe seems to be the most popular, the RT3 with the single exhaust exit or the RT2 with the duals? I like the fact the piping follows the contour of the motor fairly closely. The RT2 sounds super, at least on UTube. The RT3 here is a nice looking set up, does the RT2 look as good? |

Hey Dean, in your pic comparison above, it looks like the RT-3 with the 3-oclock exit is tucked up closer to the motor than the one with the 4-oclock exit. Is that the case or are my eyes deceiving me? |

No, they're at about the same position, maybe within 1/2" difference. I'm trying to tuck them all in a little closer now, I actually hit a huge speed bump and made mine drag. No damage, it is stainless, but I definitely hit and heard it scrape. My original was the lowest version, everything since has been higher up and I'm getting them even closer now. I have a stand/jig set up to replicate it a little better now and all the measurements for the collector. I don't have a ground clearance measurement, but it's probably the same as stock. |

Cool, the closer to the motor, the better. Within reason of course. Have you purchased a better buffer so you can offer polished exhausts? |

Wouldn't a bench grinder fitted with a cotton buff be the correct tool to use? What kind of polish is recommended? I know a guy who hand polished his 1098S 70mm full system to a mirror finish. He said it took him "days" to do it. The end result was pretty awesome. I didn't ask him how he did it, some people there asked why he did it. Going to that extreme is creating a maintenance hassle. |
