hmmm, $40k? that is crazy... I like the looks of it, and I guess this is pretty good for a bike with that hp/torque but 432lbs. dry weight is heavy compared to something like the new bmw 1000rr. |

Guys this is the real deal. This bike, at least in prototype form, has been around for more than a year or two. There were magazine articles about it some time back. It's an independent operation with nothing to do with Harley. This guy buys VROD motors from a Harley dealer and stuffs him in his own chassis with an Aprilia front end. It's a nice machine. Heavy, yes, but this is a handmade, exotic super bike with unique character. Out of my price range for sure, but I admire what it took to bring this thing to production. |

Harley isn't up to anything but selling v-rod motors to an indi outfit. Remember, this is the engine that Buell wanted early on, but HD blew it up to the heavy pig that it is and stuffed it into a drag bike kind of thing. The motor is still heavy and why Buell outsourced it's engine elsewhere. |
