Just bought a drive belt Buell # G0500.1AKF for a XB12Ss and there was a Goodyear # 15 01910 on the belt as well. Can I buy this belt somewhere else at a better price than $175.00? Thanks for the help!!!! |

No, the dealer is the only source for belts. Someone tried going through Goodyear directly but was unable to get it. |

Thanks Mr. Froggy. That new belt that I installed was a little tighter than the one that broke. It should loosen up when I get some miles on it, right? |

New belts are tight, they will loosen up after time. I recommend you swap it out at 10k miles and get a new one, as the used belts go on easy from the side of the road. |

Yeah loose is the word... I've got 24K miles on mine and it's scary loose! Thanks for the source Ryan, I'm gonna get one just for GP. |

Melvin, Get the new one and put it on. Carry the used one as a spare. With it being loose it will be easy to put on on the side of the road. |
