I see the ZG Corsa screen is now available on EBR's site Anyone know the difference in coverage or what to expect to see between the DB and the Corsa ? Ken |

The Corsa is new and taller than the DB. It replaces the Sport Touring screen. |

I would hesitate to say that the corsa screen replaces the sport touring screen. I've had several email discussions with a rep at ZG, and the original Corsa design was going to replace the sport touring screen. In other words, it would be literally called "Sport Touring". The Corsa name would be assigned to a race track oriented design that was under development. There were delays in releasing any updated screens until EBR gave feedback to ZG. From the looks of it, the "Corsa" screen on the EBR website is in fact a race type screen with more wind protection than the stock item, but not anywhere near what was seen in the prototype. Hopefully ZG will release that original design with the "Sport Touring" name very soon. |

Crap so they shrunk it down? It would of been perfect and improved my fuel economy. |

I sent an email to them to ask for some pictures. Their website has dropped the listing for the ST screen and has the OEM, Double Bubble, and Corsa. Hopefully the photos will be of one installed on the bike to provide a frame of reference. |

I already did the same : I just got this a few minutes ago Dear Ken, I'm sorry but we don't have any pics of the Corsa yet. We're trying to source a bike to photograph. The Corsa and Double Bubble will function roughly the same. They're both about the same height. The Corsa doesn't have any creases on the sides like the Double Bubble. Most of the top Buell race teams used our Double Bubble last year. So we know it works. Thanks.... Glenn is hopefully sending me my standing order for Corsa screens this week so that I can get some photo's of it on the bike to send to him. Once I have those photos, I'll upload them to the same badweb thread that has the other ZG screen photos. The whole ZG corsa screen thing is very confusing, and it hasn't helped that folks within ZG have been sending out very conflicted data. What I've been able to determine from speaking directly with Glenn at ZG: 1) They would discontinue the ST screen, but they have purchase agreements with Lemans (Drag, PU) to sell the existing ST screen (the one that I was selling before). But they don't plan on marketing that screen directly, they view the Corsa as it's replacement, FOR THE 1125R. 2) They've had a couple different versions of the Corsa screen. Pictures that we've seen in the past from them are NOT the final Corsa screen. EBR's involvement with them created the 2nd version. 3) Corsa screens are ONLY available in smoke and Clear... no Dark Smoke or Blue Corsa screens will be produced. Al |

There was already a full 1125R ZeroG thread going from before, so rather than post it here, I posted pictures of the Corsa Screen in that thread. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/427734.html?1271722137 But long story short, the new EBR Corsa screen is NOT anywhere nearly as big as some of the early pictures of a taller Corsa screen. I sent the pictures to Glenn at ZeroG, and he told me this: With regard to the taller screen vs. the Corsa: We decided to go with the EBR version for the Corsa simply to simplify things. We didn't want to market our taller version only to have people dissatisfied with it once they got wind of the EBR version. My original idea was to market the EBR version as the regular Corsa and the taller one as a Corsa T. But decided to keep things simple. If some of your customers prefer the taller version please let me know and we will re-think the situation......the EBR Corsa is meant to be an alternative to the Double Bubble for racing applications, not a Sport Touring type screen. The taller "Corsa" is more like a Sport Touring screen or a racing screen for big guys Al} |
