A bike is a bike to a point. What I really love about my 1125R stands alone at this point. I love the way the bike feels and handles but dont we all? Now here are a few things that really impress me, stopping power, wow! I'm 6'2" 235 lbs and from 100 MPH she stops me very well. The bike is very comfortable and never fatigues me on short rides, long rides fast rides or slow rides. I like that theres a great place to stick you hat ( right above gauge cluster ) and that area can be modified for a radar detector with ease. I love the fact that you can adjust the brake and shifter for my bis ass foot, save money on after market rear sets. I love that the bike only cost me 7000 and it still has a warranty, hahahaha! Theres more but lets hear some form our other riders. |

I love that I can ride in cold and or damp conditions for hours comfortably. The fairing works amazing well. I love the headlights as well. I think it give the bike a great presence in traffic. |

I forgot about the head lights, what a huge upgrade from my XB12R, my S1W and my SuperHawk. |

09 CR: I can sit and look at this bike all day long. I have 6 bikes and this is the only one I can say that about. I can't even explain it. |

The balance of the bike is amazing. I can sit on the bike at a standstill in traffic and not have problems. |

I love the fact that I can come to a complete stop and not have to put my feet down at all if I am going to be pulling away again, that mass centralisation and balance really works. I love the fact that it's comfortable at seriously silly speeds and that the front tire skims the road surface when accelerating without upsetting the handling. I love the brakes! I love the looks, more so with the optional fairing kit but I can still sit and stare at the bike for hours (I'd rather be riding it though) The fairing is very efficient and full of space! |

I absolutely love my '09R. No offense to my previous Buell ('00 X1), but this bike is in a different league. I've been a Harley big twin guy for 20+ years, owned several. But I can honestly say I've already had more fun in my first 1,200 miles on the 1125 than I did on all the previous bikes combined. I'm away from home on business travel right now, and just typing about the bike makes me smile! Mike |

I only had my very first ride on my new 09 last night. I LOVE everything, so far. The balance is amazing. Shifting is amazing. Power is amazing (as far as I could tell being as I'm breaking it in). Styling is amazing (had a pedestrian stop and say "wow, nice white bike!). (mind you, stopped at a red light, I was also amazed at how hot it got... thought my leg was going to ignite). LOVE it. |

I love the grin inducing torque and horsepower that puts a smile on my face and a sense of urgency in the throttle hand that eventually induces butterflies in my stomach because I cant contain the excitement of moving through time and space at such a rapid rate. Ohh yeah, it looks cool too. LOL |

I swore off 4 cylinder asian bikes and chain drives (oops, I did own a Monster which was an awesome bike)and switched to twins several years ago. I've always been drawn to functional yet unique bikes as i'm not one to follow the pack. My '04 R1100s is an awesome bike which, if I had to pick only one to own, I'd keep it without a second thought. However, after buying the the 1125r in October, I've not been putting many miles on the BMW. The R is dependable, unique, and satisfies all of my performance and ergonomic requirements. My wife asked if I was going to ever ride the beemer again. I said absolutely, once the novelty of the 1125r wears off. I can't see that happening at this point. I've put on over 1000 miles on it so far this season in the Northeast - no weeping, no electrical problems, no fuel mapping issues, nothing...I put a pipe on it for aesthetic reasons first as the stocker is fugly and a K&N...Every time I park the thing - at another bike dealer, CVS, the gas station - I always catch one person stopping to see WTF this thing is...Most people ask "Who makes a Buell?". I say, Buell... |

I love that most people have no idea what it is. Then when you tell them it was designed and built in Wisconsin it really blows their mind. |

I love the fact that I still want to ride her everyday ! I have the attention span of a puppy , and I get distracted easily , so its easy for me to loose interest , but not with this bike !!! Usually after a while I start out thinking I wanna go for a ride , then by the time I get all my stuff together , go out to the garage and check over the bike , I get distracted and blow off the ride and start tinkerin with something . With my 11 , if anything I'm standing in the garage suited up and ready to go staring outside wondering if the weather will let up enough I can get in a quick ride ! Sure sometimes I get cold standing in the garage when its 3 degrees outside , and its snowing so hard I cant see my house anymore , but i cant stop standing there , staring at her , kinda like the Tony Stewart Armor-All "Go ahead Stare" commercial , sure the slurpee is frozen to my lip and I have hypothermia , but the winters are so friggin long here and I live in the snowbelt where we get well above a 100+ inches of snow . So even though it'll be our 3rd summer together I still cant wait to ride her , funnest bike I've ever owned , and lets not forget that we are all "outsiders" in the sportbike world , I like that , Dare To Be Different I say !!!! It's like a fine wine, it gets better with age. Every time I take it out I discover a new capability, push it a little harder and it never lets me down. And although it's been mocked by some for it's looks, I find every time I look at it I appreciate it more. It's a hell of a machine. |

I love the linear power band. It is a lot of bike but at the same time the power comes and smoothly. It hugs the road in the corners. (Message edited by freezerburn840 on April 14, 2010) |

i love my 1125 CR but i know i would love it more if didnt still have the XB. in back to back rides, the XB is set up so well that it just out handles the CR and also looks better. i do the stare-as-i-walk-away thing to bith bikes but i hold my stare a lot longer for the xb. the CR does owns the XB on the freeway and highspeed overpasses though. |

I use that space behind the fairing for my hat too. Some times for rain pants. I love that spot |

I love how Buell fixed all the issues I had with my '95 S2. The 1125R has way more power, smoother engine, handles much better, improved gauges with fuel reserve light, no belt adjustments, improved aerodynamic fairing, etc. After 12 years on the Thunderbolt, I was ready for an upgrade. |

The slipper clutch rocks. It is uber-stable in high speed sweepers. The motor is a beast. |

09 1125R, love the bike to death, recently installed the EBR Race ECM for Pump Gas with my HMF slip on and KN filter and I must say the bike is perfect I love how the bike gives me exactly what I want. Power in every gear, control in every corner and the best overall riding experience Ive ever had. |

I love the fact that every single time I ride my CR, I have at least one "Well aren't you a crazy little bastard!" moment when it lifts the front wheel cresting a rise or slides the back tire or does a little wobble over some bumpy pavement or . . . well, you guys know exactly what I'm talking about! I could go on and on. The riding experience is just so damned much fun. Thank you Erik! |

I agree with Ultimo_justin, my 09 1125R with the EBR Race ECM for Pump Gas with a FMF Apex slip and K&N Air Filter is the best, the bike is perfect!!!! Thanks EBR |

I love when riding with friends that have Jap bikes, and they want to swap with me for a little while to see what the 25r is all about. And going to a Jap bike dealer and all the sales reps will go out and be checking the Buell out pretty much ignoring anything else that comes into the parking lot. Unique, and functional is where it is at on this bike. |
