I recently got my weeping clutch fixed. Since then I have noticed a leak coming from somewhere near the resevoir/lever area. The reservoir is tight and don't know what else it would be? Overflow? | ||

Could be that they were not wiped clean when the service was done. Overfilling could also be the problem or the banjo bolt was not tightened. | ||

It coulb be the master cylinder seal, if it's been "pumped" a lot it might have damaged the seal. It shouldn't as they're designrd to bepumped (obviously) but it's worth a look. If the banjo bolt was taken off were the copper washers replaced or re-anealed? | ||

Dc, Ive wiped it clean since and its re-appeared. Banjo bolt the hose fitting connect? | ||

Craiga, I topped off my fluid a week ago and had the same issue. I took it off once to make sure the gasket was making a proper seal and it still leaked. Turns out, the thing is kinda tricky... a very small part of the rubber gasket had been pushed down creating a small gap... even if you have double-checked this, I would triple-check it. | ||

Overfilling the reservoir would cause leak as the fluid heats up and expand and leak through the cover/gasket. Yes, banjo bolt attaches the brake line to the reservoir with two copper washers, brake line end sandwiched between them. |
