Question; is there a difference between the fan logic on an 06 Uly and an 09? My old 06 fan ran all the time when I was sitting a stop lights but my 09 always shuts the fan off when I'm sitting still. On the flip side, the 09 fan always runs while cruising and the 06 came on and off while at speed. I'm just curious if there is a difference in the fan logic or if it is just difference between two bikes. | ||

Yes the '06 and '09 ECM's handle on and off times totally differently, from the required reading I have done. (Message edited by etennuly on April 12, 2010) | ||

sounds like your 09 has the comfort kit flash. an 09 model that has not been altered from the way it left the factory should behave similar, if not exactly the same as your 06 did. | ||

My 09 with Comfy Kit hardware and without flash behaves just like your description of the 06. |
