Big Hairy Ralph, As promised, here a picture of my daughter with her new Blast. I still need to repaint the exhaust but the rest cleaned up real well. She LOVES the Blast.... Oh yeah, keep the Babe comments to your self, remember, she's my daughter!!! Brad |

Brad, Dump the stock exhaust ASAP.Your daughter will be so much happier if you do. We are very pleased with the Kerker on Cils Blast. I didn't think you were old enough to have a child that old!! |

Soundman, where does the lift attach to the bike? Under the top frame tubes? |

Hootowl, You got it. The arms telescope for positioning. The long one fits behind the rear cylinder-across both tubes. The forward/ short one only grabs the right side top tube for balance. Its padded with high density foam and I welded on stops to keep everything in the air. You do have to temporarily remove the air box or bodywork - or use a Forcewinder type intake for this to work Soundman....... edited by soundman on July 10, 2003 |

Soundman, Were you able to drill out the stock front pulley or is that an aftermarket aluminum item? |

S1Joel, Nah...It's the stocker. I used the same jig for both the rear and the front. That front sprocket is tough though- use a hardened bit to speed things up. It is best to take the sprocket off because there is always some burrs left that will chew up the side of the belt . Flip it over and de-burr. Soundman........ |

Dan, It's staying stone stock for now. When she gets used to it, I'll do the pipe for a bit more get-up-and-go. The Kerker is near the top of the list of possibilities. I've done the rejet but still have a noticeable flat spot in the midrange. The pipe should fix that. BTW, thanks for the age compliment! She's the young one! Her brother is a year older and proudly entering into the service of our country in August. Glitch, Yes I am proud of both my kids! Thanks much for the compliment. Brad

Boese, what does that have to do with Buells. It is a really sweet ride for sure, but it has 4 wheels. |

Nothing wrong with showing what you drive when not on two wheels.I have a good friend that just took a 5 series V8, 5 speed car and super charged it.He fabricated all the plumbing and then sent it out to ceramic coat. The thing look's like it's suppose to be there.Nice car Boese!!!! |

Rocketman, well spotted, the `Bladeis a write-off -project. I wanted to do a real German `fighter, so jacked the seat frame up and knocked up an "in the bodywork" zorst to show off the single sider.Cutting the rear light in half and making the reflector the light gives a really clean tailend . |

Claudy: Show us some more picts and give us a run down on the modifications. So far I spot an X-1 headlight and fly-screen plus maybe an X-1 tail section. BTW, who does that Fanny pack belong to (it seems to attached to an attractive frame of it's own!)? Time4Work Neil S. |

Buellblastrider got it right, he forgot just RRC alluminium tripletree with raisers and LSL handlebar, Beringer radial brake lever, Daytona steering damper (it wasn't there in the previous pic). The tail is an X1 polished with a custom taillight and Kellerman indicators, the pulley and sprocket set is a kit from Free Spirits called "torque kit" 'cause it has three teeth more... it gets more torque indeed! Feel free to visit our Italian Buell Club at http://www.bcube.org cheers ClaudyO

Hey claudyo! Does "free Spirits" have a web site? would like to know if this pulley set is like the set Trojan offers...the XB9 could always use alittle more torque! I have seen the Italian make many Buells, old and new look great..wish the US would. |
