The Buell lines are really easy to bleed, all you need a a snug fitting tube to fit over the bleed nipple. Some dot4 and a small bottle to catch the fluid. | ||

They work fine; they are a quality product and can be of great assistance when trying to bleed car brakes single-handed. I see zero value on a motorcycle myself; mostly because I can't imagine the job being easier than it already is. KeS | ||

Worked great, I had a hard time doing it pump and bleed. Speed way was just minutes and turned out great. | ||

I got the speed bleeders for my last bike. They were very nice for most bleeding needs. When I did a caliper rebuild, I got the Mighty Vac because filling the system was a pain. It sucked the fluid from the reservoir to the bleeder in no time. Great tool and has lots of other applications. | ||

+1 on the Mityvac, although I broke mine (the plastic handle cracked, probably due to excessive use) and replaced it with a comparable device except made out of metal that I got from Harbor Freight. | ||

This weekend at the track folks were talking about speedbleeders. So I did a search on the WERA forum and found out a lot. Sounds good to me. But then doing it the old way is still pretty easy on the Buell. | ||

I use a 60cc syringe and some urethane tubing. Back-feed from the caliper. Once it reaches the reservoir, top it off, no bubbles. Get the syringe at a pharmacy or farm supply store. Z | ||

What size speed bleeder do we need for the clutch? This is the response I got from them. I do not have notes on your specific model Buell. Other models use either SB8125L, M8 x 1.25 or SB6100, M6 x 1.0. We have both sizes in steel and stainless steel. Are you able to measure your bleeder? |
