well looks like i spoke too soon. It was running good yesterday so I took it out again this morning. It started up ok, when its idleing it will idle smooth, then through a little pop in every couple of seconds. I wish i could figure out how to post my timing charts on here. I think the timing might be the issue now, or a partially clogged injector, something. I dont know I am just grabbing at straws now. I wish i could get ecmread to work. When i try to start ecmread " the program cant start because mono.dll is missing from your computer" Ive tried reinstalling, to no avail. I cant get mono to download the right way i guess, i dont know, the place where you download mono from has like fifty different versions of it and its not clear what version you should be using for ecmread. Ive been downloading the one " mono 2.6.3" or something like that. Dont know, Im over getting mad and frustrated. I love my bike, when it runs, Its not the bikes fault. ITS OBAMAS FAULT, HHAHA JUST KIDDING I ALWAYS WANTED TO BLAME HIM FOR SOMETHING PUBLICALY |

Click this link to download Mono. http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/2.6.3/windo ws-installer/4/mono-2.6.3-gtksharp-2.12.10-win32-4 .exe If that doesn't work, go here: http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.htm l Assuming you are using Windows, pick Windows, then click "Mono for Windows, Gtk#, and XSP" |

yea, thanks froggy, i tried but my computer says that mono is already installed so i tried to delete EVERYTHING on my comp that says mono and it says its still there. At this point, im done with it. There are other programs that are MUCH MUCH easier to use. One thing ive noticed that has always been true in MY life is, you get what you pay for. The program is free, enough said. Thanks anyways, if it ever gets easier to accquire i will try again. Justun |

Better for your bike that you don't get it running. |

I can guarantee you will not get any program as complete as the ecmread and tunerpro combo. I'm with Id07 at this point. It may not be working for you as a safety to keep the bike from blowing to pieces. |

I have an '06 xb...is there any advantage to using the ecmread/TP combination as opposed to my current ecmspy/MLV combination? |

I have an '06 xb...is there any advantage to using the ecmread/TP combination as opposed to my current ecmspy/MLV combination? These two combos aim at different targets. tunerpro is an eeprom editor and ecmread is just a little helper for fetching and burning data. MLV is log file analysis and logging requires ecmspy, as ecmread is not capable to do so. |

So for an 08+ xb it's best to use ecmspy for datalogging and getting real-time data then use ecmread to read/write new a/f and timing values?? Gunter, xopti, thanks for all the time & effort you both put into this program. I have a small dip in power @ about 50%-75% open throttle from 4-5kRPM. I just got the cable in the mail yesterday and I'm ready to fetch data from the EBR Race ecm. Am I in left field by thinking I should add a little more fuel to the affected cells (possibly drop the value by 0.5) and lightly adjust from there to level out the dip? |

Do these work on the EBR race ECM? |

No idea. Don't have an EBR ECM for testing, just an older DDFI-2 factory race, and it's working with that one. |

I guess we'll find out when Krueger gives it a test. |

I'm just a middle man, I only did test on how to use it and posted that data. I did ask Gunter for tips on how to move files around better. Gunter and his direct crew or Just himself did all the real work. give credit to Gunter. Mike |
