Author Message   Cjmblast Posted on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 - 11:22 pm:        FYI - We need to try and get a count of the number of Buell 20th Anniversary posters that are needed. They will be sold at $5 each to help cover the cost of shipping them. To view the poster (minus a few logos) you can click on the link under "Quick Board" and "20th Anniversary Poster" thread in M2me's post dated June 9th. The poster will be 17" x 24" !! At this point we just need a really good idea of how many we need in order for everyone to get what they want !! When the poster is printed, possibly by the end of June per m2me, we will post the information on where to send the money for the posters, and as the checks are recieved the posters will be mailed out !! In order to keep folks from having to repeat their posts if they have already put in a request, I've listed what we have so far in the 20th Anniversary Poster thread !! The reason is that I'm trying to make a memento of sorts. An aluminum oil drain hose plug. The head machinist at work has been letting me use the lathe after hours, and I got a few feet of 5/8" 6061 aluminum rod. I estimate that I'll be able to make around 80 plugs by the time the middle of August rolls around. I'm just afraid that I won't have enough for everybody. Is 80 a realistic number, or should I just bag the whole idea?   Dynarider Posted on Sunday, June 29, 2003 - 05:36 pm:        Crusty, nobody has an accurate figure as of yet. But going by the number of people in the 2 local chapters & those on this board who have said they will be there, plus add in some extras & my guess right now is about 60 people. Its a middle of the week deal, if it was on a weekend I would expect more. I would like one,make as many as you would like first come first serve right????   Bads1 Posted on Tuesday, July 08, 2003 - 03:29 pm:        To anyone that would like to get together Tuesday the 19th the evening before the kickoff.I would have to say that everyone may be a little burned out from a long ride here so.I thought that Spidey,Dennis,Chris,John and I would need to talk a little about the event the night before so all of you should be invited as well to relax,kick tire's swap lie's at my house not but 3 blocks South of the host hotel around 8:00 pm that night.I will get 1/2 barrel or a 1/4 depending on how many people are interested.Be a good time to meet people and make plans for Thursday morning ride's and get any info that you's would need regarding the area.Plus if any one might need to make any quick repairs to there scoot they are welcome to my tool's and bike stands. ALSO, I have talked with Jeff Bailey with S&S and any body that wants to tour the plant is welcome to. I suggested Thursday the 21st as the tour date. Who is interested. We need to let Jeff know. He said they don't do tours any more but they do for clubs and special groups.I think were special enough for this.
