Hello all, I picking up a new 2009 1125CR this weekend from a dealer. Are there any current recalls and if so would the dealer take care of them before they sell a new bike? | ||

Best bet is to ask your dealer to pull up the VIN on HDnet and show you where it states open product campaigns or recalls. If it was involved in anything, they will show up and if the work has been completed it will say so. You could also post the VIN on here and I could run it for you if you have it. | ||

Yes you should tell them to update the Electrical harness for the Stator and the most current flash.. While you are there get the resistor plug to denoid your bike $7.00 part. | ||

I wouldnt take it off the lot until anything that needs to be done is done. Quite frankly you will just have to go back anyway. Oh and by the way more than likely the harness will probably have to be ordered. | ||

Do the California fuel canister. It's covered under warranty. | ||

Thanks for the quick responses. To get recall and warranty work done do you have to use the same dealer? I am purchasing this bike from a dealer that is 6hrs away. They are one of the last places in my area that still have new CR's. | ||

Coastie, I ran your VIN, the only thing showing up on there was the charging harness update and it is showing as completed on 3/17. Part of that harness update was an update to the most current flash so you should be good to go on that CR | ||
