I like to play on the weekends but also commute to work in mild traffic (40-60 mph...but fairly one lane constant traffic)quite often. Just want to figure out if a race ecm (can I even get one anymore ?) would be worth it.

You can get one no problem. It works fantastic! Install it, reset the TPS and enjoy : )

You have an 07 so a tps reset would require u to use ecmspy. 08's and up can do it in 30 seconds manually

I have the software to reset my TPS (the regular program...can't remember what it's called). So does ECM just richen it up across the rpm range or does it mess with timing also. My concern is it won't 'cruise' well....

Is there ever going to be a race ECM available for 2010 12's or 9's do you think?

I talked to EBR directly about this; the Race ECM's are programmed with a new fuel map (richer than epa allows), advanced timing at certain tps/rpm's, and also a few things have been turned off that could interfere with a race track duty cycle (bank angle sensor, etc...).

I've installed one on my 08xb12 and cruising is not an issue at all.

Just an FYI, it sounds like you want to switch back and forth between the stock ECM and a Race. You may already know, but it does require some tight wrenching (10-15 minutes) and it's not something i'd want to do on a daily/weekly basis. You'd be best getting one and keeping it installed.

You would have to contact EBR and see. According to another (not credible) post, they were having issues with getting it to work.
