Well, they're all sold out. The second batch that we haven't shipped because they needed the right springs mounted will come in next friday or monday, and you should already know if one of those is yours from either an email or phone call from us. For those that missed it, I'm sorry, but I don't have any more. I sold all of them at the $750 price, didn't keep any in reserve.

Thanks for the support,
Al

Thank YOU Al! I got your confirmation e-mail the other day. I am one of the lucky ones and I'm utterly giddy to put that jewelry on my bike.

Screw an exhaust. I put an Ohlins shock on my last bike and it changed the bike in a much bigger way than a couple horsepower from a noisy can.

FYI, EBR shocks have three way adjustment, not two.

"FYI, EBR shocks have three way adjustment, not two."

Huh ? Not mine...... Just compression and rebound, no high speed compression.....

According to the description on EBR site

"High and low speed compression, rebound, and ride height adjustable"

It's here. Came today. Now I have to wait two weeks to try it. Evan Steel Performance (builds AMA bikes) has a big presence at our track. He (or Phil his partner) will be working with me to get it setup. I'm pretty sure this will be all worth it.

Dang you!
Mine won't show up until tomorrow... : (

(I've been dragging UPS's server down with how often I'm checking the tracking site! hehehe)

An update: I got some bad info from the Parts Unlimited product descriptions, which specifically said that the TTX shocks were slow and fast damping adjustable. These are NOT slow and fast damping adjustable, but it isn’t because they are lesser shocks than ones that are. The Ohlins TTX road and track shocks are their top line shocks that use a different technology than conventional triple clicker shocks, and the technology change makes it so that it doesn’t need a separate adjuster for slow piston speed and fast piston speed. More technical info below.

You can’t find a better shock for the bike, but since I did incorrectly state what it was slow and fast adjustable, anyone that ordered and received one can return it for a refund. The others are supposed to be shipping out today, so if that is an issue on those that haven't received theirs yet, just let me know and we'll make it right.

This below is from the Ohlins guy directly:

" Page 5 of the manual talks about the TTX’s ability to deal with varying shaft velocities. Also, there is a brief description of the technology on page 4 that talks about the technical advantages of TTX vs conventional shimmed piston.

This can be a very odd subject to get people to understand. So at any point, please don’t hesitate to use myself or one of the AMA technicians to help with your customers questions.

The Öhlins TTX36 features a patented
concept with a unique concentric twin tube
design, together with a solid main piston, that
allows for the gas pressure to always back-up
the low-pressure side of the main piston. This
design creates positive pressure build up on
both compression and rebound stroke. As a
result the TTX36 has a more direct damping
response, less risk for cavitation and works with
lower gas pressure.
Compared to a regular piggy back single tube
shock absorber, that has positive pressure
build up only on rebound stroke and relies on
compression valve resistance together with gas
pressure to avoid cavitation on compression
stroke, the TTX36 design is superior.

The reservoir is connected to the system so,
regardless of direction of movement, it will be in
contact with the low pressure side of the main
piston.
The compression and the rebound valves are
both of the same design. The valves have three
flow paths for the fluid;
Bleed valve (Fig. 1 centre black arrows): small
orifice that creates a flow restriction simply by
being small.
Shim valve: (Fig. 1 outer black arrows) fluid
pressure has to deflect thin steel washers
(shims) to open up an orifice and allow fluid to
flow through it.
Check valve: a spring preloaded shim that
opens easily, for return flow of fluid when the
direction of movement of the shock absorber
changes (Fig. 1 outer white arrows).
The bleed valve and shim valve are used to
build up damping force. At slow stroke speeds
the percentage going through the bleed valve is
higher and at fast strokes the shim valve takes
care of most of the flow.
The check valve, together with the bleed
valve (since it can flow both directions), handle
return flow.

Are you crazy?!! There's no way I'd send my shock back because of a description error. But thank you for the explanation and data.

1) TWO MORE ARE AVAILABLE!!!!One customer has some financial difficulties and has elected to not get one of these. And Ohlins found ONE more of these than they thought they had. So we have TWO more of these available. If you want one, PLEASE CALL THE ORDER IN, 760-727-2333, as I'm not going to turn the website product back on for only 2 unless it doesn't happen due to this notice.

2) Due to a delay in getting the shock preload adjuster tools (Ohlins Sweden sent only 5 to Ohlins USA instead of the 10 they needed), they haven't shipped them to me yet. 5 are drop shipping directly to the first 5 that ordered, the others will be drop shipped directly to the end customer as the new tools arrive in a few days. Sorry for the delays, we'll get them out as soon as we can.

3) I've had extensive discussions with the tech and Ohlins, and now that I understand the difference between the TTX technology and the conventional shimmed piston design, I'm sure that those that get these are going to be exceptionally satisfied with their purchase. TTX rocks.

Thank u Al. I just received my Ohlins TTX. Maybe the last one to ever be shipped out new for the 1125! I'm torn between mounting it on my R or frame it with an expensive gilded frame (black velvet background), and hang it prominently in my living room.
