Couple items... just put in a 500 mile shakedown run with a new CalSci windshield (half highway/half backroads). What a difference on the highway. Exhaust cover... I want to fabricate my own exhaust cover and integrate some highway pegs... any ideas/leads? Tires... I'm thinking about Avon Storms.. anyone had some experience with them. Thanks. |

What size / height CalSci are you running and how tall are you? |

Man TT's stuff is expensive. That might not be a bad idea to have HWY pegs on the skid plate so long as they don't stick out too far. |

Snowman... I bought the tallest one they had... I'm 5'10"... is working for me... no, not like a Goldwing... but, I just wanted the buffeting and neck strain to decrease... has done the job - the real test will be the Colorado trip in June - highway all the way to Vail |

Badrap... I'm going to make a cardboard pattern, or rip some 2x2 material... I think I can weld the tubing to the skid plate wrapping it up and maybe bolting on a pair of pegs (or use the rears)... the set up would position like the Palmer, but simpler - the pipe wrap would look similar to the TT, don't know if I can do all those holes |
