from what I read on here and at EBR website it is plug and play. EBR emailed me and said I could go between stock ECM for "road" use and EBR Race ECM for "track" use as much as I want.

Correct. Just reset the TPS each time you install the ECM.

Mike told me to disconnect the negative battery cable before swapping and that it is programmed to do a TPS reset but if you find it idles bad do a manual reset.

"Pull the passenger seat and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery before working with the ECM.

Let me know if you have any other questions. The ECM should automatically reset the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) upon first installation. If it idles like crap, then call me and I’ll walk you through the process of resetting the TPS. It’s really straight forward."

I agree with ride, at school (MMI) we have to disconnect the batt to save the ECM along with other sensors.
