Does anybody have a pair of the older style xb tank bag front straps ? I have a bag with mounting velcro piece but I need a pair of the short nylon straps with the male ends of the plastic buckles. If anybody has these please let me know, of if anybody knows the technical name for those plastic buckle pieces and/or where to get them I would also appreciate that. If I cannot find the straps complete I will try to have a pair made. | ||

Best bet is to get an old backpack and strip it for parts (buckles). I tried for a while to get a replacement rear strap/buckle setup for my XB, but no joy, discontinued. The clips are a little narrower than a standard backpack - maybe if you have an outdoors / camping store nearby they can fix you up if you bring in the mating sides of the clips. That, some webbing, and a seamstress and you'll be all set  |
