I was poking around on EBR and noticed that they advertise the Race ECMs for "All Years". I see the R and CR are different (speedo I assume), but does this mean the ECM can be swapped from 2008s to 2009s?

To my knowledge, it works on either. I have it on an 08, personally.

Interesting considering the 08s and 09s have different flashes from the factory.

Anything noteworthy running the 09CR ECM in the 08R?

Better drivability @ lower rpms. Engine ran fine, no burps or hiccups. Don't know about the speedo, I am not that concearned if it's off.

The only issue I could see with the speedo would be your odometer is off also. Not really a big deal since these warranties are unlimited miles.
