Apparently so. Either that or my riding style must have mutated. All Winter I've been lucky to see 33 MPG with 31 if I am heavyhanded. Last night after a 150 mile run most of it in top gear at 70-80 I netted 106 miles for 2.8 gallons and that's 37 MPG. I was shocked. I am used to seeing 3.3 gallons for 100 miles. Interesting. Could it be the warmer weather? |

If this were true, I could use it to convince the wife to let me mod! Then again, I've burned up a rear in under 4k and have to work to keep the front on the ground, and I get 33 with the new flash. Up from 30 with the previous. |

Its more likely a result of most states switching to summer blends of fuel which will net a higher fuel economy. Most others have reported a consistent drop with the race ECM. |

On a side note I noticed that the Codes have finally cleared in the Diag Mode. I was starting to wonder. Well it might have been that I was keeping the throttle fairly steady in top gear most of the 106 miles which probably nets some fuel savings. |

I'm getting in the very low 20s, but that's on a track bike. |

Far from it EZ and most of it was climbing up hill from NC to VA up SR 220. |

Sure, it's more than possible to get better mileage with a "better" tune-up than the crap mapping that comes with the bike. With a more proper fuel and timing tune-up, I would bet that along with a better running engine, One would get better or at "least" as good a milage. No surprise here. Mike |

I have been consistently getting 29 MPG but this is heavily handed and a weight of 300+ pounds, on a side note I burned through the rear Corsa III in 1100 miles, go figure. I am going to try an Angel ST rear and see if that nets a better average. I think the new found torque may be a detriment to tires as well. |

Took a ride with a bunch of people Saturday and average was 41MPG with the race ecm and exhaust. Not too bad. |

Yeah actually I can report better millage since my EBR ecu. I was out all day Saturday and was surprised by the better mileage when i was expecting the exact opposite. I went from 27-28 avg to 32-34. |

I was getting better mileage until I discovered that it will lift the front on the 2-3 shift AND the 3-4 shift last tank was 28mpg Rick |

Hmm, if I can get a 54mpg average with the stocker, I wonder if I can break 60 with the race? |

41mpg,cruising on the interstate? Froggy you are even funnier at 54mpg. :-) I think the fear is that there is a performance mileage trade-off of some sort. If you relax the lean condition the end result is that you will not be using the throttle as much to get the same result. |

Nope, back roads through towns, 55 to 60 mph. Haven't had it on the highway yet. I was also able to get 50 before on the highway with the stock ecm. You guys might want to go on a diet! |

I got very few miles on my EBR ECM when my fuel pump decided to crap out. OEM ECM back on, Loretta's on a lift at the shop. I guess I'll have to pay to overnite one in if the fuel pump is indeed bad. Not too bad she's down today, it's raining. Z |

I'd hate to miss a good day of riding in the rain. |

I can confirm the initial mileage. I tanked up again after running around on some backroads at 60 MPH or so and got the same 37MPG. I think part of it is the bike is happier now at lower RPMs than with the stock ECM. I'm not going WOT often and I use the gearbox to stay around 4000-4200 RPM most of the time. |
