Dana, ref: Highland House Closing We were actually there this weekend (me and stacey) Had the biggest turn out I've ever seen. Line to the mens room was 10 minutes !!!! (and in a supreme bit of irony, there was no line to the ladies room....) The story we got was the Accura dealer just north of the location made the Highland house owners an offer they couldn't refuse for the property. Lots of bummed out people there...There were a couple of people wearing T-shirts proclaiming the event would be moved just north to a different location.....I want to say the places name is the sunrise restaurant or something like that. We passed it on the way back home. I would think that there would have to be someplace that would be extremely excited to get the highland house crowd. |

I was going to suggest the Full moon. Its maybe 5-10 minutes north, same side of the rd & there is a huge speedway gas station across the street. Or is it the Blue moon? No I think Full moon is correct. |

Bomber....looks like you will have to ride an additional 2 miles....will probably double your Sunday mileage! Joe, I keep sending you e-mails but they keep getting rejected... WFO |

Wes, no clue about the emails. Any "bad language" will kick back an email going to my bank address, but the one in my profile (vrod60090@yahoo.com) seems to be OK as is the other yahoo address. And the porn industry sure seems to mail to it all the G** Damn time. And I've received mail from you before too. I dunno. I guess I'll just wait till I see ya. Take it easy |

Hey Dyna, good seeing you and the misses as well! I'm kind of bummed i had to leave so early.....how did the rest of the evening go? lots of bikes? That place seemed like a great venue for a bike gathering....lots of room and good grub. Thanks on the TL as well...I've had that thing forever. I'm really happy with the way the Yosh exhaust system sounds.....figured i couldn't go wrong with yosh since they raced the things too.

It got pretty busy. We left about 7:30 or so, but there were some nice bikes as well as some real junk Old Kawi cop bike was a real heap. Huge BMW crowd tho, they far outnumbered all the other bikes. |

nother soul to think good thoughts for . . . . I've seen to many friends (and potential friends) buried . . . .. please, everyone take good care, specially this weekend, in which many people seem to think that the best way to celebrate the birth of our nation is to get monstered and drive (ride, pilot a boat) putting other at risk . . . . .. sheesh Racer -- see you in the AM |

A couple of pics of cool buells and cool buell people at the Drags last night....I messed around a little more with the S1: built a strut for it and lowered it 60mm.....still wanted to wheelie pretty badly but got a best ever 11:38@ 119mph! Don was there and was looking great as well....dropped like 4/10ths of a second over the course of the night.
