Hey guys I know I need the ebr ecm but gotta wait a little till I can get it, but since my fmf install my af values are at 95 front 90 rear. I can tell the bikes running hotter too. Can I reset them back to 100?? Also does the ebr ecm lock them higher? Or will they drop back down? And also anyone with the fmf pipe there is the re packing sticker on the back.... what color is it new? And what color is it when needing re packed? Jw the hot temps r scarin me and I don't wanna mess nothin up |

I don't believe you can do anything to reset the AFV values..only the dealer If you think the bike is running lean then get it dynoed to verify, if it is running lean, get some tuning or take the pipe off till you get tuning... Running lean is mean, but it can/will hurt your feelings quickly... (Message edited by stevek1125r on April 02, 2010) |

But it will go right back to where it is. That's the stock ecm "learning". R |

Stock bike set up when i got the bikke(used Salvage title) the AFV's were 88.5 f and 90.0 R and i have rode alittle....and even after i changed to a "d&d" exhaust and a k and n filter the AFVS have not changed....are these good or bad. i would assume that the bike is running rich right? |

Ecmread and tunerpro can reset them or even lock them so they can only go so low. anyway look into Tunerpro and ecmread. Both from www.ecmspy.com I have posted on here the Tunerpro instructions on how to use it if you do a search. Its on the 1125 board and the xb board. all buell ecms... mike |

Keith(Lovedabueller), by my understanding, no it is not running rich. The AFV's indicate only that fuel has been taken away because of the amount of air going through the engine in order to keep the fuel mixture within EPA regulations, provided of course you have a stock or race Buell ECM, and the 02 sensors are connected. With the thin air here mine always read near that. You may think that with your custom exhaust you would flow more air but the AFV's show different. Maybe its just the rpm range where you ride mostly and the exhaust is not well matched to that zone. Bob |

also not a lower afv is telling you the bike is removing some fuel to keep the afr at the stock stioch of 14.7:1. what the pipe did was make it more efficient in the area your riding when you made that reading. if you had the full ecm data logging device on the bike you would see the afv constantly updates depending on riding condition. A pipe that can get the lowest afv on a stock ecm IMO is the best as long as its producing equivalent Hp/Tq numbers. shoot for efficiency. lower afv lower fuel numbers mean nothing. except more MPG. If your doing an endurance race why run a pipe that produces 150hp with all hight fuel valuse when you can drop a couple Hp for a pipe that can get you a few hp drop overall but yields 10 to 20% less fuel table values. you want the most hp/MPG= best bang for the buck IMO. why waist fuel? ride efficient. match a pipe type to your riding zones. Like BOB stated. Its kind of like shopping for shoes or clothes. They may be cool in the store and oh others but if they don't fit. They are not cool no matter how hard you try. |

Hold both the mode and toggle buttons in, turn on the key. You get the diagnostic mode this way, the AFV's are near the very end, just keep pushing the toggle button to cycle through to them. |

I have an aftermarket exhaust, just de-noided & fitted a K & N air filter & still running a stock ecm. My AFV readings are 116.5 front & 104.5 rear. Is this high reading a problem? |
