I try to hit Marcus Dairy for breakfast on Sundays. The Dairy is a local Sunday bike hang out in Danbury CT. I've ridden every bike I've ever owned to that spot over the last 30 years. The RZ350 attracted a fair amount of foot traffic. My BMW R11s does too. When I rode the 1125r there a few Sundays ago, I didn't even have my helmet off when 6 guys approached me, firing the usual questions at me. While I wolfed breakfast, there was always a crowd around it. Sort of sad that it takes a tragedy like Buell going away to attract interest in this awesome bike!! |

Hey man, there's an amazing picture at Cliff's Cycle Revolution (now in Brookfield) of the old Sunday hang-outs taken from a blimp...you should go check it out. I thought that place closed or is it that the huge hangouts just stopped happening....thought I read about the last get together there in a newspaper a while back..was so pissed I never knew about it but then again I only started riding street in 2006. Just sold my Ducati 848 and bought an 09CR...I work for IBM and find myself in Southbury here and there...let's ride some time... |

It's been a while since us Danbury Buell Riders met up at Marcus. |

The other day I was leaving school when an R1 pulled up and parked next to me. He looked at my R, then at me, back to the R, then just walked away staring very confused at the bike. I found it very humorous. |

The good 'ole days at the Dairy were wild - drag races, burn out contests...thousands of bikes every Sunday. I'd be up for an semi-organized meeting for breakfast with other Buellers some Sunday! When I went recently, I was the only Buell out of probably 100 bikes total...I think there's another "Super Sunday" coming up on April 18. |

dont go during super sunday. the place is a mad house. go any other sunday and there is a much more reasonable amount of bikes. 500 vs 2000 |

Super Sunday doesn't draw NEARLY what it used to in the late 80s early 90s. |

I know! I miss the gangs from Harlem, Brooklyn, NJ that used to show up and add color and personality to the event...Honestly, it was a blast then...but that was then and I'm glad to have experienced it...but this is now and I'm still glad there's a place locally for us to hang out... |
