CC, something is radically wrong with what you are seeing. You need to contact EBR and have them walk you through your set up. The EBR race pipe and ECM will easily make 15HP over stock, any day on any bike that doesn't have something wrong with it.

Chevycummins, I just see the AF chart good, Is there a spot that is more the 18 AF LEAN at 4000 RPM at WOT.

I would be careful with that, Your bike can die on low fuel there..

Eddie-

I was informed that the ECM will work with other pipes. But obviously if your going for "top performance" from an exhaust system, I would prob recommend figuring out which pipe you want first, then seeing what tune is known to deliver for it.

Eventually I will acquire a pipe as well and I have no doubt in my mind that this ecm will work with whichever one I purchase.

ive put the EBR ecm on mine
ALOT smoother .on throttle and decelaration ...no more popping and farting
the way they should released it.( i guess emissions regulations was why they didnt)
and mine runs an custom slipon exhaust (Xpipe & twin mufflers),so they did pretty well on a tune
it idles at 1500 though

Anon, I want to get it back on the original dyno before I bother EBR. I called that shop again yesterday and their going to try to get the dyno fixed soon. I was expecting to see a 10 to 15hp gain so I was a little bummed with only 2. I can't think that 2 dyno's could be that far off from each other.

Ohsoslow, give me a call or stop by the shop, I'm on first shift now.

Easy, I can really feel the lean spot at 4000, if you jump on it, it will really fall on its face.

Chevycummins -- Check the throttle/intake. Make sure it's really opening 100% and have you removed/disabled the solenoid? I would suspect a leak at the intake on the engine side or the butterflies aren't opening all the way. Not sure if you have a way to test it for leaks, but the dealer does.

D adams, removed active intake solenoid a long time ago and the throttle is opening 100%, checked it after putting it all back together. Seems to idle ok and run ok under steady throttle, don't think it has any vacuum leaks. Wondering if I got an ecm that the bank angle sensor is set up for an ignition interrupt.

Mike, seems like if you suspect the BAS, just disconnect it and see what happens. I'm not trying to be a smart a** either. I got one with the BAS active and have not had any trouble with is disconnected. And what a difference! Bob

Bob thompson, just haven't had time to pull the pod cover back off and disconnect it yet. Might get some time tonight to give it a try. Wish I was able to see how it was set up on the dyno, the dyno at this shop is in a closed room. No customers allowed in the dyno room!

Disconnected the BAS and still the same. Anything under 4,500rpm wot will backfire through intake and misfire. Afr 14 wot under 4,500rpm, over 4,500rpm wot afr 12 to 13 and seems to run strong. Time to call EBR.

"I can't think that 2 dyno's could be that far off from each other."

I've seen it too many times. Most people have no idea how far off different dynos can be, even the same dyno with different operators. There are a lot of variables and some of them can make a huge difference in RWHP reported.

Absolutely. Comparing the results from two different dynos is a total waste of time. I have seen 20 hp variances.

Wow 20hp variances, I thought 5 or so on a bike dyno. At least both were the same brand of dyno that the bike was on. I'm getting some help with the bike soon and feel confident that it will get the numbers we were all expecting.

I have also seen various dynos that were only off by 1 whp...

Yes you should use the same dyno. This will help you see where your money actually went. It minimizes the variables. I wouldn't worry about WEATHER, the only way to see a crazy gain/loss from weather would be in extreme temp differences...
