I plan on making my first trip to Cassody this Sunday. Who else out there is going that I can link up with? I will be coming from the Ft. Riley area. |

I was going to meet you and the riders from Manhattan @ 1000 in Cottonwood Falls. My grandchildren will be hunting Easter eggs that a.m. therefore I won't get away until after 10. If you are willing to change the ETA in Cottonwood Falls then I'd still like to meet up with you. Otherwise it looks like it will be May before we meet up. Bob |

It looks like it will just be me and one other friend(non-Buell).The Holiday put a wrench in a couple people plans. 1000 should not be a problem, I understand it is Easter and most have family to be with. Looks like Cottonwood Falls will be our link-up. |

Looks like the wife and I are going to go as well. Keep an eye out for a blue X with outdoorsman bags. I doubt we get there before 11:00...probably won't get any BBQ, oh well. |

I'm not leaving Wichita until 1115 so Cassoday eta would be close to 1230. I'm on a blue XT. Hope to see other Ulys there. |

Boogeyman and Ulykan, it was nice to meet the two of you. I hope we can find each other on the road again. One thing I learned about the Cassoday ride is that you have to get there early. Everything is done by 1200. |

Eric, while I was talking with Boogeyman and Stephanie you walked off to get a drink and I never saw you after that even though I looked for your yellow shirt which should have really stood out in the "crowd". yet I never saw you. In retrospect I could/should have called your cell but didn't think about it. Sorry I didn't meet up with you again today. It was a pleasure meeting you, Boogeyman and Stephanie and hope that we can all get together again sometime. I hope that your journey north was better/less windy than my ride south because the wind was fierce. Glad you made it home safely. Til we meet again, ride safe. Bob |

Nice meeting the both of you as well! Stephanie and I both made it home safely too. Once we headed east to KC, we were riding sideways most of the time due to the wind! I'm sure we'll cross paths again. Eric - When we were discussing the comfort kit install, I didn't think to mention to watch out for the front ECM bolt. Don't use the new bolt that comes with kit, use the old one, you probably have seen this on here somewhere else already though. |

Great seeing and meeting you and Stephanie today. It's nice to know that there are other Uly owners not far from me. Maybe we can get together sometime this summer and go for a ride. May 2 is the next Cassoday rally so maybe I can meet you guys in Cottonwood Falls and we can ride the rest of the way together. As Eric said though, we should plan an earlier arrival. This is the latest I've ever arrived and although I'd heard that people leave by noon I was a little surprised today at how deserted it was. Be safe, Bob |

The girlfriend and I did our first Cassoday run yesterday. Parked close to an orange UlyX and a red UlyXT, right along the highway on the south side of town. Saw a couple tubers parked here and there. Nice to see such an eclectic mixture of people and bikes. Got the closest ass-end view of a turkey vulture I ever want to have going down KTA. Other than that, a beautiful day and beautiful ride. Funny and ironic, on the way back, north on 177, all the bikes going through there, and the KHP picked up some mommy van. |
