Traded the Uly today for this. Couldn't resist when I saw it had heated handgrips!

Thanks for the condolence. It will be a rough time getting over the Uly. Good thing I still got the Firebolt in case the new geezer glide starts making me feel TOO old! |

Congrats. My wife and I borrowed a friend's EGlide Classic for a weekend group ride when my Uly was in the shop. My wife absolutely loved the thing. I enjoyed riding it too, it was very comfortable and handled easily at gentle pace. For a weekend ride with the missus it was just the thing. |

I'm surprised the Uly even made a dent in the price of one of those. They aren't my thing, but I have rented one and my wife liked it very much. Very comfortable and nice for trips. Enjoy. |

I traded my 2006 Uly on a 1125R, I'll never make that mistake again! I kept the 1125R and got a new 2009 Uly and will keep them both until EB comes out with something else or the bikes don't run anymore. btw, good luck with the FLT, the tank and fenders were painted in the newer softail paint shop. when the plant was downsizing all the paint was moved to the newer paint shop and the old paint shop was closed. |

their definiteyly a nice bike. the guy that got me back into riding almost 20 years ago was hit on his 03 ultra and got that exact bike to replace it. he used to be hardcore and say that he'd never put a windscreen on his bike. but after i got the 01 ultra and he went and got a classic to put the lehman trike kit on for his wife that all changed. him and his his wife both likes the way the thing rides and handles. also etenuly's son is waiting on a limited also but with a different color scheme. for right now, i'm happy with our o4 ultra and as long as i can afford them, i won't get rid of any of the bikes if i can help it. |

Does that have the new frame, that was devolpoed so that they would handle as well as the Star crusers. If so what do you think? Has it lost that accordian feel? Enjoy your bike, one of the fellows I ride with only goes w/Hardleys and he seems to like them alot. He did rent a newer Goldwing back in 03 and found it handled better and was more comfotabaly than his Hardley but his Dad was in south Pacific during WW II so he won't touch jap bikes. |

Did they throw in the “Badge and Shield” orthopedic socks and the “Depends” coupon?

I seriously considered trading in my Road King for an Ultra Limited, but it made more sense to keep the Road King as I've got it just right for 500 mile/day riding. The amount I planned on spending with selling Road King covered my 09 Uly and I kept the Road King. I've easily ridden the Uly as far as the Road King on a single day - go figure. Those Ultra's are nice riding bikes - enjoy. |
