Author Message   Thecowboyblack Posted on Monday, March 29, 2010 - 01:05 pm:        Hey Guys, When I went to kick the bike on this morning I had a "Low System Voltage Warning" and the Engine light kicked on (System Voltage read 12.0) I kicked my display setting down to 3 on the LCD and rode in with the headlight on dim hoping she would charge back up, but by the time I got here she had actually dropped to 11.7 and now the Batt light was on. I'm a "daily rider" so she don't sit around. Then I remembered at one point hearing about an "Inst Cluster Recall" for these in passing somewhere, but when I went to My Local Harley Shop to order all parts for the '09 recalls for the bike, they stated the particular recall was for the R not the CR, anybody got any ideas or info on this? Just trying to pinpoint this and wondering if that might be the issue. 2009 CR 2234Miles Thanks in Advance!   Froggy Posted on Monday, March 29, 2010 - 01:19 pm:        Did you have the stator relay harness installed yet? That's what happened to me p0562 system voltage error. Check your diag mode. Get codes. If it is then you will need the stator, the new harness assy. and you will get the most current flash.   Captain_america Posted on Monday, March 29, 2010 - 04:03 pm:        Same thing mine did. Stator was fried and I got the harness update. Now shes better than B4. No headlight/cluster flicker, charges great! Have your dealer order the parts and they can do it in a couple hrs. Had mine done at SkipFordyce in Riverside so they have experience already cowboy, where do you ride? I work in LA off the 110frwy and El Segundo in Hawthorne... Happened to me and left me on the side of the road . Cost me $225.00 to tow it home .. Took over a month to get the bike back from the dealer !
