Folks: I am selling my black Scout IV jacket. It is a 2XL but I have a 48" chest and 37" waist the waist fits fine (and during my chunky period of 38" it still fit fine however the chest is two tight for me particularly when I used the inserted linner.I think according to the new measuring standards published by 1st Gear it should be just an xl. It is in my opinion better than new. It is broken in and soft, every year I have used Lexol to treat it and clean the leather so it is soft and subtle. There are no marks scuffs or any other blemishes. It has never been out in the rain nor other chemicals or water. The only difference I can see between this model and the new 2010 model is that the collar only has one snapp versus dual snaps. the 1st Gear logo is on the left arm and I think the reflective pipeing on the front is a little larger on the new model. I have never used the neck warmer which has a neat storage feature in the liner. I have used the jacket (when thinner) from low 40's to upper 80's. it vents very well particularly on the Uyl. I am asking $215 plus shipping which is about half price. Sorry to let it go but it is just to tight for me. I am also posting here befoe ebay or craigs list because I want you folks first oportunuty for all the benefit I have gotten from this board.See attached sight for pics and explanation of jacket (it is an 2010 on this sight). http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/39/23535/ ITEM/Firstgear-Scout-Leather-Jacket.aspx |
