question I have not seen asked yet is what about the ebr ecm.. ?and this bullitin?if a re flash is required .. should I just email EBR ? |

The EBR race ECM is equipped with the proper programming needed to operate the stator harness. All you would need to do is make sure the ECM lead that goes from the stator harness to the ECM is wired in to the correct pin. I can't remember off of the top of my head which pin it is supposed to go in so you will have to consult a dealer or note the stock ECM's pinning prior to unplugging it. |

Just called my Dealer ... they put the order in for the "Kit" and will let me know when it arrives. Said it shows 1 hour labor for install time ... |

I bought the bike out of state in the middle of January.
I got the charging system letter and scheduled wiring upgrade with 620mi service at local dealer on 2/23/10. local dealer had me sign a statement that they had done the work when I checked in! Then when they called on 02/24/10 to say it was done I was told that the work had already been done. The wiring upgrades weren't even available until recently, surely not in January.
I asked for printout showing flash version thinking that might help tell the story. I'll pick the bike up tomorrow or the next day when weather clears.
Any ideas what's going on?

Just called my dealer today and he said should have a harness by Tues. I also told them i wanted the Cali can installed because i may take the rear pegs off! |

Lets see...
brake rotor = week and a half.
new belt = two weeks plus 1 wrong part.
Fork seals = one week.
fork reinstalled incorrectly.
charging system update = week and a half, and that's because I stayed on them about it. Every time I would call in they were waiting on a different part, sometimes they were waiting on a part they said they had last time.
Maybe I'm a little hard on them bout it, I dunno.
They have been getting much better lately though, they are now returning my calls like they say and things are starting to happen much quicker. Maybe once you go in enough and everyone knows your name.... |

Dannybuell, Was your's an ordered bike after the announcement, mine was and came with the harness installed although i received the letter and was listed as open.
