Has anyone else had their engine case on 1125 crack??? My bike was cutting out and i pulled over and noticed what looked like a little bubble on the left side of the case maybe a CM in length and has a crack i guess cant see it cause its really small but when the engine will run you can see it spit oil alil before it dies, has anyone heard of the problem | ||

Yeah, I had my engine case crack about 4 weeks ago. It's sitting in the shop still, and H-D is flying in engineers to look at it, or at least that's what the manager told me. | ||

Yea i had a trip planned with family and friends coming out to meet me for an extended weekend trip but thats shot now but they can fly engineers out to look at mine all they want but they can look at it with the engine out of the bike cause i dont want to wait forever to get my new one and miss this perfect weather to ride. | ||

He probably wanted pictures of his cracked case to compare to yours to look for any similarities. It would be curious if it was an earlier stage of your crack. Then comparing production dates might find a particular bad lot. | ||

Mine was nothing like that engine, mine just looked like a pimple with a pin hole or crack in it, i will have to get a magnifine glass or something to look at it better but i will def keep ya'll posted and i will try to get pics on here, whats the easiest way to get pics here but the way cause i suck at computers??? |
