I took a while but I finally finished doing a flat black powdercoating on various parts for my 2002 X1 White Lightning using my home made curing oven. I also fabricated some brackets to do a dual headlight conversion using a new style windshield. Here are a few pics of the process, now I just have to put it all back together!!!

What kind of paint did you use for the engine case? I wanted to PC it as well but didn't want to have to split the case. Also, does anyone know if there is a way to remove the part at the bottom of the tube circled in red in the following pic? I wanted to PC it but didn't dare put the whole tube in the oven (with curing temperatures higher than 400F, I was afraid to warp it). Thanks in advance.

Put the whole tube in the oven, you won't hurt it. |

I'll get on with the rebuild as soon as possible, but first I have to rebuild the engine (124") and put it back in my StreetGlide.
