saw this at a dealer in Germany. Never heard of a limited edition XB. Sales tactics? :-)

Never heard of it. But I do notice it has the decals from an m2 on it and not the decals from a firebolt. |

Never heard of it either, but I have seen car dealers do similar "special editions" to help sales |

Never made by Buell. That is a dealer 'special' edition. You can tell by the trophy shop plauqe, (looks like they got it from Things Rememberd) as stated above the M2,X1,S3,S1 logos. |

Looks like a blue metalic paint job with the double white stripes down the middle. |

It's fairly common for the larger, better known dealers in Germany to make special edition Buell's. How soon I forget, the previous sentence should be in past tense now. Buell Hannover did quite a few different XB's over the years, for example. Quite a few of the bikes I saw at the MSM's I attended were actually dealer special editions and not owner customizations. In Germany a stock Buell is an oddity as most are highly customized, 1313 |

That raised lettering on the airbox is the same as I have on my 03 except mine is orange for now. |

+1 greg_e I have those letters in chrome fairly sure they are stock 03 letters (Message edited by delta_one on March 24, 2010) |

you can tell they are not the 03 stock letters by the bottom you see how your American motorcycles section is rounded. The Tuber sticker that says American motorcycles is rectangle.

Mine doesn't have the American Motorcycles on it, but it is missing a bunch of the other stuff too. To me they are only a template now, just need to remove them so I can cut out the black reflective material and stick it on. It will then be white, gray/silver, and black for every part, a completely monochrome bike and rider. |

if the stickers are not stock on my XB I would love to know who made them because they are damn skippy. I personally love that it says "XB9S" in black under the "American motorcycles" in white, and that it flips up perfectly to encapsulate the bottom of the BUELL lettering. |

Delta I do not think yours are stock however the American motorcycles decal is the same shape as all 03 later decals until they stop putting it on there. |
