I bought my Firebolt with a D&D pipe on it. I am selling it to a fellow Badweb member. I am not sure what hardware I need to keep to install a stock pipe on the bike and what hardware he needs from me to install the D&D on his bike. Any help would be great. |

You shouldn't need any additional hardware for either of you. However, Buell recommends replacing the front muffler strap each time to replace/remove the exhaust because they are prone to breaking. |

Replace the strap..I forgot to after Kevin from Drummer told me to. 6 months later in the middle of no-wheresville it broke. I ordered a new one from asb and Al said you shoul;d always replace too. |

FYI, the front muffler straps are on back order with no ETA. I have one on order with the local dealership, and plan on canceling it tomorrow and ordering through American Sport Bike. |

Do you need a stock muffler? I've got a used one for an '03 9R for sale. |

Al (asb) is much faster than the dealer, plus if you have any questions he'll answer. |

+100000 American Sport Bike is the way to go for stock parts. Al's the best. |

I'd replace the torca clamp that joins the header and the muffler. They stretch each time you use them, and eventually don't really apply any pressure. My Drummer was rattling like crazy and extra noisy, turns out it was that clamp causing it. |
