Chris, I'm gona be in P-town Sat. Gona visit my daughter in Mcminnville. Also I found the 1125r that I crashed this summer, and I'm bringing a piece of it to him that I still had. I'm sure I can slip a bit of Hooligan-time in there! Talk to me. |

How/where did you find your crashed 1125R, Galen? Was it rebuilt or still wrecked? I still have a copy of the key to my 2007 XB12R that was wrecked. I'm sure somebody has the bike... |

Paul, I found it on the Badweb 1125r Superbike forum. A fella said he had fixed up a wrecked bike he had bought, and I recognised some of my personaly-created scratches. He did a minimal rebuild, still using the damaged swingarm... looks purty good. |

So had a nice run up and down the freakway last weekend. With the possible exception of the 3mph section from Newberg to Mcminniville. And from Mcminniville to Newberg. Other than that it was nice just to put some miles on the bike. Played around with different positions (RIDING positions) [(M/C riding positions)]. Found a fairly-comfortable tuck that was about 7-8 mpg friendlyier that sitting up... could be good to know on this gas-hound. -I will not use the word hog in connection with my 1125r- So I'm going over to Bob's MotorCycle Museum this wkend to start to resurect Betty from her Phenix-like ashes. I'm hopeing two new injectors will do it. I loaned her head light to some poor BadWebber from the East coast what crashed in Seattle last year, and just talked to him today about getting it back. He's in Eugene now, so shouldn't be too hard. I've never had two working bikes at the same time befor, I'll have to start thinkin' of some new tricks! |

Well I just got my tax returnment check, and I'm going to DAYTONA! I am just about to go nuts dealing with this @#$%, and that (*&^, plus everytime I turn around %^& is up my butt about some other crap... so I'm running away. Perhaps to return, perhaps to find myself, perhaps to lose myself... who's to say which is better. I may end up on CSI Miami; I hear they need an Xray tech... |

Sonoma North is High on my West Coast to do list. But now I'm taking in the sights of the Atlantic Side. I saw some wussie tourists going swimming with some members of the philum flipperatus beerbottlus-nose. I have instead made arrangements to swim with an American Alligator! According to the pamphlet, it's not that dangerous. The 'Gators think of people as being all pink and smooth, so to trick 'em you cover yourself with mud to the extent that they can't see you! Should be epic... |

MotoGP at Laguna is the wknd of July 23-25. Would miss another year of Splash Been absent for a while so checking in. The Sprint is once again "casually" up for sale (only so I can buy a Street Triple R) although I do love that 1050 motor. Got the front end of the FJR completely rebuilt and tuned by GP Suspension. The DR650 is ready for some off-roading (attn Bob). I hope everyone has had a good winter! Hope to see you all soon. |

\2( So today I rode one of them fan-boats out into the Everglades. Thank Dog for GPS or I'd still be there. I was looking for sunken, stolen, Spanish Treasure from Moctezuma's Stash. All I found were some Manatee's. I see now why the Old Saliors thought they were Mermaids; these Bitches are HOT! Well, they have nice personalities anyway... and they wants to please! } |

Hang in there, riding season is just about there in BC and WA. Here it's all year round. Nice. Harv |

Harv, watch out for them BufoToads dude! I know you want to lick 'em, but for Dogs Sake man, DON'T DO IT! No stop by Cooper Pedee? Yer right about riding season bro. See ya sooner... Now as for my trip... hung out with some locals last night. Jethro said I had it all wrong about them Dolphins; something about a 'blow hole' and a 'mighty purty mouth'... but it was late and I may have misunderstood...but I doubt it. |

I just bought some carbon case-savers from EBR. They are half the cost of the actual cases... seems good to me. |

So I've been doing research into the causes of my many low-speed tip-overs this last six months. I have worn out my slide-rule, AND my abacus, coming to these conclusions. Since these incidents all have happened at low speed, I think I need to get up to a higher speed more quickly. To this end I have put the new K&N filter on, and picked up a new Barker exhaust. This is su'posed to net me +17 hp at the rear wheel. If my calculations are correct, this should launch me past the low-speed danger area befor anything can FUBAR on me... |

Went on my first sport bike ride of the season yesterday. No big coats or puffy gloves to hide the feel of my bike. Just sunshine and clean streets. Reminds me that Sonoma North is getting closer. Many are called, but few can answer... |

There is a cool wind blowing in from the Northlands, wispering of an early Rite-of-Spring, the Legendary Sonoma North Ride. Seems to be coalessing for the month of May, a month somtimes and un-fairly maligned for it's connection to communist idealogy, but in this case a shining beacon of Hooligan Freedom! |
