So I ran my overflow tube out by the license plate and of course the fuel drips on the tire. That won't damage the tire will it? Probably a dumb question but I wanted to make sure. |

Why is your overflow tube by your license plate? It should be on the passenger foot peg left side. Gas on the tire is probably not something I would make a habit of. |

Gas on the tire sounds like something to avoid to me as well - it could potentially soften the rubber (in a bad way), and if you were to do a burnout with gas on the tire, it'd probably light a whole lot easier. I'd reroute it somewhere else. |

Agreed, probably not the best place to route it. |

if you ask them, pirelli will tell you to stop riding on that tire and get a new set immediately. gasoline, for a short period of time, on the rear tire : personally, i would not worry. especially if it was in the center. solvents, oils, and especially brake fluid would cause more concern. the longer the exposure, the more. |

RPM, if you remove the passenger peg brackets, the overflow tube has to be rerouted. On mine, I couldn't see a way to route it down the left side without contacting the countershaft sprocket, so I snaked it down the right side, exiting near the footpeg, secured with some plastic ties. There can be drips on the exhaust, but this is a cooler part of the exhaust far from the headers. I could also attach a small extension to get the end below the exhaust. I may do the CA carbon can in the near future. |

Do a search, there are loads of people that have rerouted the fuel vapour line, mine goes down the middle of the bike to the ground, cant even see it unless you look really hard. |

Thanks for the info, I'll figure out a different place to run it. |

So I ran it down along the left side of the frame and tied it to the oil cooler line. It won't get on the bike at all from the looks of it and as long as that line doesn't get to hot I'm set.
