Thats cool, maybe sometime we can do a NEBO woods ride.Climbing tricky hills is most fun for me.I hate sand pits unless they are somewhat hard packed. |

You got me beat... that's how long I take for a 10-miler. Here's yesterdays run. Purgatory is beautiful... and steep. |

So did ANYONE ride this weekend? I managed to put in about 100 miles running errands on Saturday, but DAMN was it nice out. Sunday was spent bottling some IPA. Should be ready by early April. |

My 1125 & I got around these last couple of days. The bike brought me from breakfast at the Miss Mendon to Chepachet down over the Scituate reservoir and down to Point Judith. My riding buddy is all excited about his KTM so he keeps finding us dirt roads. Its grin-and-bear-it for me taking dirt roads on the 1125 but its part of the fun. I'm approaching 1k miles on the machine and starting to get a rapport going with it. Great couple days of riding! |

Your Ride height is adjustable ya know. Your looking for about 12 Deg in the rear on a Twin. I just set mine up yesterday, laying all that out and re-adjusting it all was fun...NOT! should be done & set up (for the most part) by end of this week(end), Then tune the motor/QS/TC and run what ya brung! Then on to the next project(s) |

Tell me more about this 12degrees... |

12 degrees Fahrenheit = -11.1 degrees Celsius 12 degrees Celsius = 53.6 degrees Fahrenheit 12 comes before 13 and after 11, as in "These go to eleven twelve." 12 is a dozen. 13 is a "baker's dozen," attributing to the generosity of your hometown baker. Kamani Hubbard was born with 12 fingers and 12 toes. Yeah, that's about it... |

Anyone here riding around exit 5 in Londonderry, NH on Saturday? I saw a white/blue and a red/black bolt on my way to go work on my lightning. Spent 14 hours working on her just Sat. trying to get her back on the road. Warm weather is a good motivator. |

Isn't that like asking someone to give up there twisty roads location? |

Anybody can find twisty roads legally. Offroad, not so much. Scott, I got nothing. I'm pretty sure Freetown doesn't even let atv's in. Foxboro, maybe? None of the places I go are legal. But I have a plate, by the time anyone comes to bust me, I'm on to the next spot. |

One of my riding buds lives in Plymouth. I go down there to ride quite often. People bring jeeps atvs etc... trails are pretty good, technical hills and some monster deep mudholes.I think the jeeps get stuck on purpose, and just like using there winches. That being said none of them are "legal". Couldn,t tell you how to get there exept that there is a big sand pit with a T train stop/track next to the trails. Actually he lives in Kingston, start from there and we end up being in plymouth at southern end of trails. (Message edited by spdrxb on March 23, 2010) |

Good to know, I havent been there since october. All good riding areas are vanishing. There is a good "legal"riding park up in NH but its 45 min from me and is currently flooded. Most likely wont be open until late june if at all. Hopkinton/ Everett system. I'm sure there are many trails up here but you have to be a locall to know them all. Like Eric said above not too many people want to give up their "secret"riding area for fear of it getting trashed and attention grabbing for the po po. |

Legit dirty riding. I've never even been on a dirtbike, so I'm not gonna say this is the best riding on the planet. But it's a link, so there. There's also a dude in Bellingham building an indoor dirtbike park. Pay-to-play, of course. |

YOU D MAN Mr J. But technically the season cant start til "May 1st" per your link. You should pick one up, I dont think you would ever fall over only the bike would. |
