So, I was working in a manufacturing / warehousing place this week. In one of the buildings there's a chain link fence separating the area operated by the manufacturing company from the area operated by one of the warehousing companies. I come around the corner, look through the fence, and lo & behold  :  I estimate there are at least 25 to 30 of them, can't say for sure, couldn't see al that well. From where we were we couldn't see and labels indicating year or model. Very interesting. Certainly this is not the only place they are so there have to be a bunch more new Buells to be sold in the coming year. I just hope they get sold to riders and not scrapped just to get them off of H-D's inventory sheets. | ||

You actually found them! Next time I'll do a better job of hiding them. What you found is what I did with my cashed in 401K.  Great find non the less. If you happen to be there tomorrow ask around and find out for us what the scoop is. | ||

my local Harley dealer claims to have a warehouse with Buells in it... maybe they are not the only ones? | ||

I was at McHenry HD yesterday, and they had about 20 Buells sitting outside. Salesman says there are a lot (more) left there. | ||

According to the bike locator on the Buell site they have plenty! http://www.buell.com/en_us/tools/find-a-bike/state -inventory.asp?statefilter=IL# There was a post on the BB&D forum at the start of the factory liquidation sale about some 1125 models from Brazil being retrofitted for domestic sale. The VIN breakdown in the front of the XB owners manual shows an assembly plant at Manaus, Brazil. Might these be some of that number? | ||

I read that Magpul had bought 25 of the 1125's for their Ronin project. They would have to put them somewhere. Not that these are theirs but maybe some others have done the same and needed a place to store them. | ||
