I've got a 2009 1125R with a November 2008 build date. Using the search function I found a repair kit mentioned with the part number X2086.1AM. However, I wasn't certain if that was for 2008 bikes, or what clutch cover revision it was designed for.

Is that the correct kit for my bike?

That's should be the latest kit. Clutch cover does not matter from what I understand.

Its the guts, not the cover itself. Either cover will work.

I just had mine done last week and for some reason they replaced the cover as well. I had the original rev A and now how the big-pucked rev B. Maybe just a precautionary measure, but I know they had spoken to the mothership to get details on what parts, etc.

Also, now that the updated hardware is in, downshifts sound different than before, almost like things are moving slower inside. I get a snick when I hit the shifter, followed by the delayed clunk of the actual shift inside the tranny. Anybody else notice this? Things are working fine, but the difference in sound is noticeable.

I had my clutch worked on last week (replaced piston and sleeve) however they did not replace my cover. I noticed there was again a slight weep coming from the hole in the cover. I was under the impression the cover was part of the fix. Is this so? If not I think they should have replaced it due to damage from the brake fluid.
