I picked up a set of pucks, and I've got my bike out in the sun as I type letting it warm up a bit before I start the process. My question is this, how flexible do the pucks get, or should get, after they warm up. I've all ready heated one up a bit with the wifes blow dryer, and it doesn't seem any more flexible than before. BTW, it's 55 outside, and frame temp is around 64. |

Heat is to help seal, not to flex. At least that was my reasoning when doing mine. The instructions say 70degree climate is best. I created a approximation of one. |

Why not get a good ride in to warm up the frame and then stick the pucks on. Should get plenty hot. |

Because the wind will peel up the edge. Per instructions. And in real life. Ask me how I know. Buying enough 3m adhesive strips to cover your botched job/early ride. $25.00 Let it sit for at least an hour, or have the side come up, and have a 1/8" gap. |

The frame pucks that are for the Ulysses also fit the 1125 frame. |

Not quite true!! The internal contours on the pucks do not exactly match the frame contours no matter where on the corner frame angle you place them. It is a slight misfit but good enough. There will never be full tack contact of glue to frame but like I say its good enough to look ok. Put on many pucks in my time and this week did the 1125R using Ully Pucks. |

I agree 100% Trafford. They do NOT fit perfectly. But they look fine and will protect your frame in a crash. Put mine on last week and I oddly feel safer, haha. |
