That is not our policy. Anyone who spends any time here knows that. Our policy is that non-sponsors not be promoted here, which is what you did, blatantly.
that's a load of garbage. all he said originally was that he was getting a hawk exhaust. after that he was just trying to defend a good product.
you could probably make that word censored like other 4 letter words, but judging by the layout of this site maybe you couldn't do that. |

So far, nobody that has bought his pipe has complained. I feel if you ban a person from a site and then talk badly about his product, then you are not giving the chance for him to defend himself. Maybe he is not a sponsor, but he has been very helpful, NOT condescending or sarcastic and has proven knowledgeable. I wonder if he paid you, would it change your mind about his product or would you just not talk as badly about it?? |

Jstdi- I don't have a dog in this fight...but the issue is not with his product, it's with the ethics of respecting (or rather not respecting) the board rules. The product gets kinda dragged into it because of how he has behaved. |

I think they all have their own appeal, I just prefer the sound of the Hawk. It is all opinion and I am merely a poster and not an endorser of a product (unless you count used parts sales)  Clearly this is my screen name and has been for a while, but stating that we like one pipe more than another whether they be a sponsor or not is just our statement. Not an endorsement unless I get paid. Andy, thank you for being a gentleman. |

If Dallas had left it at his original post, there'd be little to complain about.
If you are thoughtful enough to take some time to suggest ways to improve our rules and policies here, please submit your ideas to the "Suggestions for a Better BadWeB" page, but please avoid further pollution of this or other threads with argumentative commentary concerning forum management.

You are confused. I've not said word one about his product.
But to answer your question, I'd not accept payment of any kind from the man for any reason. He fails to meet one of our primary prerequisites for Buell Forum sponsors here at BadWeB, that they be people of honor and integrity. |

Back to the topic. I own one race muffler from Drummer. It rocks. I am considering a new muffler for the street bike. Not sure which best suits my needs. I do tend to appreciate that the Special OPS retains function of the valve. I'll have to do more research. The carbon fiber Drummer is spectacular looking for sure. |

i do wish i could hear the specs ops and the drummer side by side
i see mixed posts on which is louder. i know about the asb exhaust shootout but the max decibels dont really tell the full story. |

There are some on badweb that insist Randy comes here to plug his product. He does not.
He did it once not knowing the rules and never did it again. He came on after that a couple of times to defend attacks and then was banned. He wasn't plugging those times.
But the people here still insist he does.
And yes, the drummer is the pic above. Has anyone ever shined a flash light inside the tip of a drummer? |
