Riegelwood, NC No, the 07 XB12X didn't come with the top case, only the 2 sides. They came with the bike, just never use them. I also have a service manual that goes with the bike. Thanks |

I'm back in Kernersville, so 45 mins or so South of FB&D. Spent most of the last few weeks in Edmonton and Toronto, glad to be home. Shoot me an email or give me a call with your trip details, may be able to meet up for a bit. I am loving my 09X, I am sure this one is going to a great loving home too. Congrats! |

(this is Bill posting from Jim's account)... Thanks Tobey! You had the patience of a saint, I appreaciate all your help, and the bike was extremely well prepared and really nicely sorted... thanks for all your work and graciousness in the face of a very confused PNC Information Technology department . I should be heading out around 9:30 or so.... I'll post pictures where I can and get a trip report up when I get back to the card reader.. Jim has been a great host! Timing wise Alex, I am aiming to be close to FB&D from 5 to 6 or so, but I'm keeping the day flexible.. |

>>>The plan is to layover at the dome tonight and drink Ferris's beer. Good news . . you are now perfectly equipped to load and export (exported beer is a sought after commodity) . . . that very beer, Welcome to the world of luggage ! Be sure to tell them "Hello" . . . two of the most wonderful folks who ever stirred dust on the mothership. |

Thanks Mark! Once Ferris heard I was conspiring against his beer, he must have deployed the tire spike strips to make sure I don't make it across the Virginia border. A wiley one, that guy. So I drank Alex's beer instead, and took one of his tires. Then kicked over a spreader with 40 pounds of fertilizer in his garage on the way out... just for good measure. You can't take me anywhere.... I had some diet cokes in the hard luggage starting in Wilmington... but there were some sharp edged take off parts in there also. The mortality rate was 50%, good thing Diet Coke doesn't get sticky! |
