Hey Mark, Can you run down to the campground and remove all the chiggers before I get there? Much appreciated. I will not wear flip flops this time. I will send you some tweezers and a magnifying glass to help. SteveH
Hello, this is Todd and Angie from Fairmont. Does any1 remember from the Buell rally which guy had frame sliders on his buell, and where he may have gotten them or where we can find a set.
so I FINALLY got the Buell out yesterday. I swore to myself that I was going to ride one day this week no matter what... and at a balmy 29 degrees, I trucked my popcicled butt to work.
All I have to say about my morning ride is... BRRR!
The afternoon ride home at 63 degrees was AMAZING!
Hello, every1 this is Todd & Angie from Fairmont. Just wanted to let you all know that we are hoping to make it to the Buell Rally this year we are not sure at this moment due to me (Angie) being diagnosed & battling cancer 1 week b/4 Christmas. I have had 2 operations in 1 month, the hospitals here are talking a lot of radiation so now I'm trying to get into Johns Hopkins in Baltimore where they specialize in my cancer.
My friends & Family are having a Dice Run for me to help pay for my medical bills. It is on May 15th 2010.
Hope every1 is doing good after the long winter, please be careful on your bikes especially KEN!
Also who had the frame sliders on their bike at the Rally?
my mom seriously puts a damper on my buellin' when she asks me to buy her three bags of mulch on my way home from work... I don't think they'll fit in the saddle bags, ma...
Last month I took home a set of new rear rotors for my F150 on the back seat! Got some strange looks from the folks in the parking lot as I was ratchet strapping them down.
Not three bags of mulch but as close as I could get....really freak her out and get her four bags!
To date the bulkiest thing I have carried on the Uly was my weed eater. I bought a new one at Northern Tool a few years ago, one of those Honda four stroke pro models on a buy it now good deal.
The box was about two feet by two and a half, and it was six and a half feet tall! I didn't give it a thought until I reached the parking lot where my Uly was waiting. I did drive a truck to town, but I got so excited about the good deal, I forgot I was riding the Uly back.
Pretty unusual riding a motorcycle that is six and a half feet long and six and a half feet wide! The important part was not forgetting just how wide that is when you are used to three feet.
Yeah, I really like the stt, but this should be much more comfortable for two up and longer trips. I'm going to keep the other bike too, as long as I can find time to ride them both. I'll be up around Romney all week if anybody wants to go for a ride.
