FYI - We need to try and get a count of the number of Buell 20th Anniversary posters that are needed. They will be sold at $5 each to help cover the cost of shipping them. To view the poster (minus a few logos) you can click on the link under "Quick Board" and "20th Anniversary Poster" thread in M2me's post dated June 9th. The poster will be 17" x 24" !! At this point we just need a really good idea of how many we need in order for everyone to get what they want !! When the poster is printed, possibly by the end of June per m2me, we will post the information on where to send the money for the posters, and as the checks are recieved the posters will be mailed out !! In order to keep folks from having to repeat their posts if they have already put in a request, I've listed what we have so far in the 20th Anniversary Poster thread !! Thanks, cjmblast

Richie, Glad the pins finally made it! Ryan, I have emailed CP several times and not got an answer about the video. I will try again. Alex, So can you be in Waterloo the morning of the 29th to go to PDC with us? I have a bike for you. If you are going to be around in July you'll want to come to BattleTrax on the 20th. |

Keith, I get on the parts when I get to work this morning. I was off yesterday. Rippin and Shazam, I think you guys better both show up early, you are both going to have some competition at this one. My latest "Save a SQUID Kid" project kid is coming along very nicely. I am counting on you guys to beat his times, he doesn't ride a Buell. Ride to the edge! Dave |

You may want to get there on Sat......maybe even Fri. eh? Ryan.....they say a hundred pounds is worth a tenth at the strip.....maybe you should get rid of the handlebars, tires, wheels and a cylinder or two, OH! and drain the fluids...... has the "save a squid kid project" got a moterd? by the way tell that boy, it was fun watching him run at MAM! not to sound condescending but you could see the improvement throughout the day! (ignore the safari).....he's got a great edumacater! |

Keith, Is it the stock air filter? Shazam, Adam will be on his R6 for the BattleTrax. It should work a little better now that we set up his suspension. The shop he bought it from had it set up for a 200 plus pound rider. Dave |

Dave, I don't know what the stock filter on one of these looks like. I am assuming it is. oval shape filter that fits under the HD cover. I could problaly get a pic of the setup if you would like. Ryan is supposed to call you in the morning to at least order the brake line and you can discuss the filter with him. I warn you though, he knows very little about this bike, he just inherited it. Keith p.s. I don't think I will be able to make your battletrax in July. Heather and I are headed on vacation just before that and I will probably be flat broke upon our return. Would love to come up, just don;t think its going to work out this time. maybe next! edited by gravedigger on June 26, 2003 |

Dave, I put in around 900 miles on the M2L this weekend. It was a great trip... and it was excellent to meet all of your cohorts... I did hit a snag around 8 pm last night when I was riding home. I was coming up through Stevens Point on Highway 51 and could see a major storm brewing up north of me. We are talking about HUGE thunderheads and sheets of rain coming down in waves. I was clipping off the miles moving at 90 MPH chanting, 'I will beat the rain', 'I will make it home tonight' when it downpoured. A little rain does not bother me... but torrential downpours after 20 hours of riding in a weekend with the darkness coming on and all those damn deer... hmmmmmmmnnnnnnn kind of made me think UT OH!!!!!!!! Then because I was trying to out race the storm I did not have on my proper foot gear and the cold rain creeped down into my boots and soaked my socks. I found a hotel outside of Mosinee just 75 miles shy of my house... slept like a rock... got home at 11 am this morning. Now I am at work, fresh as a daisy!!! Might I add... the M2L performed beautifully on all accounts... the more I ride that bike the more I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it! Cheers, Charlotte |
